Das Landgräfliche Schloss Butzbach war ursprünglich eine Stadtburg der Herren von Falkenstein. Heutige Grabungen im Schlossareal haben jedoch ergeben, dass sich wohl schon gegen 1200 eine kleine ringförmige Wasserburg an der Stelle befunden hat. Jedes Jahr im Sommer findet das überregional bekannte und sehr beliebte Open Air Kino im Innenhof des Schlosses statt. Die Wohnung verfügt über ein Wohnzimmer, Schlafzimmer und einem kleinem Badezimmer mit Dusche.
