Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Vis

Wow. An amazing place. It’s quiet, peaceful, and truly a unique find. The house itself is no frills and nothing overly special, but it was perfectly adequate. However, you book this place for the location. We spent hours on our private dock relaxing. A few things to note, the inlet you are in is semi private. There are 4 houses, but one of the houses it’s right next door. Like just a few meters. You even share driveway part of the staircase down to the sea. Another family was staying there and they were friendly, quiet, and respectful. But you will interact briefly if it’s also booked as it’s so close. But it’s so wonderfully peaceful. I would 100% stay here again. I was truly in awe staring at the sea everyday. I’ve stayed in many many many airbnbs over the years, but this one was magical.

Zlatko was always approachable. We met in the center of vela Luka and drove to the accommodation together. A fruit basket, water, orange juice and milk were provided for us, which was very helpful as we arrived on Sunday evening

We didnt want to leave!!! We are already recommending this lovely little find to friends and family and we will definitely be back. We booked last minute and Maja could not have been anymore accommodating and helpful. The villa was everything we could have wished for . Everything was clean and comfortable. The location was amazing only 5 minute walk to the harbour and restaurants and 15 minutes to the beach. We rented a boat for the day to explore the islands and rented bikes for a day and cycled over to Jesla which was a delight. Hvar town is only 30mins taxi ride away . The fisherman's house is magical facing the sea, it allows a real disconnection. We would have stayed a few more days... Warning: difficult access on a stony road for 2 km and a neighbor on the left, nothing disturbing but not specified in the listing.

A lovely Airbnb stay on a beautiful island ! Host was very helpful and responsive with any queries had. Location was ideal as could walk to the beaches within 2 mins and boat to hvar was only 10 mins.

A lovely apparentment over two floors, close to everything and super quiet. Jesse was a great host with excellent knowledge of Komiza, plus he met us off the bus from Vis which was very helpful.. especially if you have experienced Croatian street planning! We really enjoyed our stay, and sitting out on the little balcony... plus, in Komiza we had some of the best wood-fired pizza and ice-cream we've had in Croatia!

If you want a total change of scenery, in a fully renovated fisherman's house, at the bottom of a small cove, Romano's house is for you. We spent the 3rd week of October there with great pleasure. While most restaurants are indeed closed, and the days end around 6:30 p.m., the absence of tourists, the good weather and a water temperature around 20°C were decisive assets.

We had a great time staying here which made our trip to Hvar even more enjoyable. The apartment was clean and well equipped, and only 15 min walk from the centre. There was also an amazing beach walking distance from the apartment which was great! Ante was a great host - very responsive and he offered to pick up our luggage from the port and bring it to the apartment as well as drive us from and to the port. Highly recommend!

Tonka's house is memorable for its cozy interior and beautiful terrace view. It's very close to the fortress, and while the stairs are steep and carrying luggage can be challenging, the view makes it worthwhile. Thanks to the friendly communication and helpful explanations, we had a great time swimming in the Hvar sea and enjoying the surroundings.

Had an amazing 3 night stay here! It’s a very nice place for 2 ppl looking for an inexpensive place to stay in Hvar. Hosts were amazing and responsive. Left a booklet of recommendations, and tons of info. It is a slightly uphill walk from the port but so is everything in Hvar so it’s ok. Everything was clean and I would stay again!

Excellent location, lovely place to stay, absolutely spick and span. very accurate description and Anna was a wonderful host. the pick up and drop from ferry terminal was arranged for free as well

This apartment has the most amazing view of the port area. Bars, clubs and restaurants are all within a few minute walk. The apartment is super easy to find with a few flights of stairs to climb. Easy to get to and easy to get your bags up to the apartment and inside. If you’re looking for a great place with an incredible view for a great price this is it! Thank you Nina!! I will be back:)

We were pleasantly surprised as the place is even nicer than the pictures. Great location about 1km from the city center with nice beaches just a 2 minute walk away. Grocery store just around the corner as well. Very clean place and the hosts were very welcoming and responsive to messages. Only issue is the wifi was very weak in the bedroom, but for such a short stay it was the least of our issues. Would highly recommend.

We spent three fantastic days on Hvar. Frane was a fantastic host. He messaged us a couple of days before arrival and offered to help us with luggage from the ferry. This was appreciated as it is a few minutes climb up steps to the apartment which has a tremendous view. It's only 5 or 6 minutes from the promenade and nearest beach but is in a peaceful area. The apartment is extremely nice. Kitchen had just been refurbished and is fully equipped for self catering. The living room seemed larger than shown in the photo. The balcony view is incredible and is south facing so has the sun almost all day. Frane gave us some helpful information as we arrived and was responsive when we had any question but otherwise left us alone. But on departure day he again helped us with luggage. All in all perfect accommodation with an excellent host.

Beautiful apartem in a great location. We loved that everything was in walking distance. The apartment was well equipped and nicely decorated. The communication with Mia am Ratko was also very friendly and they were helpful when we had questions. We would come back to Komiza and this apartment.

Do not hesitate to book this place! Maja was awesome when it came to checking in and out, the place itself was gorgeous and extremely clean! The bed was very comfortable and the shower was not only beautiful but had perfect water pressure! The house is a 20min walk from the center and the views are so amazing the walk feels much less! As for the views, they are to die for! You also have access to the water right in front of the house. We loved this space and will 100% be booking again if we ever come back.

Perfect getaway in a fantastic place to stay! Our 8 nights in this AirBnB apartment was just amazing! The quiet and peaceful location immediately relaxed us. The apartment was sparkling clean and perfectly equipped – we lacked nothing to enjoy our holiday to the fullest. The hosts were extremely friendly and communication went smoothly. Just made our stay even more enjoyable. We really appreciated the tranquility and cozy atmosphere and highly recommend this place. An ideal place for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway! 💙

We had a superb stay in Anamairija’s apartment. The apartment was much more than our expectations; it was perfect in every way. It was very clean, and felt like a 5 star hotel standard. It also had everything we needed. We all felt it was the best Airbnb we’ve stayed in. Sunset on the balcony was amazing. Anamarija was a super host, makes you feel so welcome, she is a lovely person. She was very informative about the island, and gave us excellent recommendations where to eat. We were also traveling with a 9 month old baby and she helped cater for our needs. We would all definitely recommend this accommodation and the island of Hvar too
