Cottage in Arnaudville
Waterfront 1930s Bayou Teche Cajun Creole Cottage
Waterfront Cottage overlooking the Bayou Teche, only 50 feet away. Restored updated c. 1935 cottage in culturally rich Arnaudville LA. Original art, high ceilings, full kitchen. This isn't a slapped together restoration. An embracing non-toxic space using old growth salvaged wood, homemade milk paint, and Tung oil finishes. Fiber Internet & two more cottages from same host. Note: yard is a pollinator garden, (mostly) native plants. It's not manicured, scorched earth landscaping.
Cabin in Arnaudville
Cajun Acres Log Cabin
Our cozy cabin sits in the heart of Cajun country, about 30 minutes outside of Lafayette. It's a great place to spend time relaxing in the quiet serenity of South Louisiana, or enjoy spending a night or more traveling through, it is located just 8 miles north of Interstate 10. We do not allow pets. The Cabin is all wood inside and has the great cabin smell the minute you open the door. It was built in 2014 by Amish builders in Pennsylvania and transported down by a truck.
