Super accommodation ... beautiful house ... great layout ... with the kitchen/diner and sitting room in one big room on the middle floor the Estuary views whilst eating or relaxing are quite wonderful !

If you are looking to explore Bayeux and surrounds you couldn’t stay in a more wonderful spot. The house had everything you could wish for and more - a true home away from home. We loved sitting outside of an afternoon while the kids played. Katrine is a friendly and responsive host, providing recommendations on local places to eat and shop.

Very nice and cosy small house. Close to the beach, which in May was not crowded. Very private and calm area. Owners prepared the apartment before the actual check-in time, which was very nice. Another nice gesture was local cider and cookies. On top of that we received handful of recommendations about what to do in the Cotentin region. Everything was perfect. I am sure we will be back again.

Amazing place to stay, lovely owner and beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Relatively close to a lot of touristic sites if you are by car. Would love to stay another time, we enjoyed our time here so much!

Easy to access cottage, small basket filled on arrival which is nice Clean, warm cottage and a very well-stocked area for children i recommend it.

As other reviews, say, this is a fantastic place to stay. The manoir itself is stunning and our wing, the pressoir, was plenty big enough for us ((family with adult sons). Christophe has spent 14 years on renovations, so the facilities are excellent. Beds were really comfortable with shutters on all windows to keep light out. The kitchen was very well equipped including a large fridge freezer and dishwasher. Shower gels, soaps etc all provided. We made use of the tennis court and walked in Bayeux every day ...20 min walk along the river or you can go direct past the railway station. Christophe is very friendly and spoke great English. The only thing to be aware of is there are plenty of stairs. Would definitely stay again if visiting the area!

Everything went very well as usual when we come to Carteret, which we love for its calm and the beauty of its landscapes. We really enjoyed the apartment, very nice, convenient, nicely furnished and decorated. A stone's throw from the dunes and close to the beaches, it is a small peaceful cocoon conducive to disconnection. It's a delightful little paradise! The apartment is snug and cozy, the garden beautiful and peaceful. I had a lot of fun during the short (or sometimes longer) chats with Guy. It's clear that he is passionate about the region and has a lot to tell about it. I had a little less contact with Jocelyn, but she is very friendly as well. To be honest, I felt a bit like staying at my grandparents, which was a nice feeling. The location is perfect. A lovely hiking trail passes right in front of the door. All the 'big sights' of Normandy are in reach within a day-trip. All in all I enjoyed my time there a lot and I definitely hope to come back another time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! I would recommend staying here to anyone. Nicholas was very responsive and accommodating. After 10 days traveling in Europe as a family, it was so nice to have some space to spread out in rather than staying another night in a hotel. There was a washing machine which we took advantage of to have some clean clothes to get us through the rest of the trip. The AirBnb is in a great location! Walkable to the Bayeux Tapestry, Bayeux Cathedral and lots of great restaurants and cafes.

Great accommodation, nice, beautiful terrace, very functional house. There were six of us and we had a great weekend. Thanks to Stephanie for her welcome and the house is super well located at 2, rue de la mer, there were no surprises. The photos match the house well and if I go back there, I will try to get the same house again, I recommend it.

Very qualitative accommodation, which matches the descriptions, allowing you to have a great stay. The beds are very comfortable, the hot tub is very large and the kitchen is very functional. 2km from the beaches and cabins of Gouville, no complaints

The cottage was everything advertised and more. Beds were very comfortable; literature was provided for local attractions, groceries restaurants; emergency contacts, etc. Loved the horses on their breeding farm, and the serene rural setting - just the perfect distance from everything we came to see. Our gracious host, Venessa, was bilingual and spoke English, which made communicating with her much easier. The kitchen as well as the entire cottage was beautifully furnished with everything we needed. She had even provided games, and other children items -which we didn’t need - but we appreciated seeing the details given to the needs of visiting families. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy the pool or hot tub, but would have enjoyed spending time at both amenities, given more time for our trip. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone desiring to travel to the Normandy area of France.

we had a very good weekend with the family for my husband's 60th birthday. Beautiful house with a very large veranda, very pleasant. The proximity to the port and shops of Barfleur is a plus. Quiet and peaceful village, I recommend it

Villa ideal for a family vacation. Decorated and arranged for visitors with great care. Also very clean. There are plenty of nearby activities and places to visit. We are delighted with our stay.

An absolute gem located less than a 2 minute walk from the historic Omaha beach. A perfect blend of modern home with traditional beach house great for large families. The hosts are incredibly nice and wonderfully easy to work with. A shining recommendation for anyone considering staying here!

Good accommodation overall, too bad that the bedding is of poor quality and we had nothing to throw away the garbage.
