We had an unforgettable week of vacation at this beautiful Auvergne home. The layout is very well thought out, the grounds are large and perfectly fenced, which was ideal for the safety of our little Beagle. The calm that reigns and the breathtaking views of the surrounding nature invite you to relax and rejuvenate. The house is also a perfect starting point for hiking lovers, with a trail station nearby and many trails accessible from the village. Jacqueline welcomed us warmly, she was very responsive and available throughout our stay. A big thank you also for the welcome gift, both for us and for our little dog — a delicate attention that touched us a lot. Everything matched the listing and photos perfectly. Between sports activities and moments of rest, this week was perfect… even the weather was there! We'll be happy to go back!

For nature lovers this accommodation is perfect It is located in a small hamlet in the heart of Cantal with only 3 houses, for peace and quiet it is perfect The view from the terrace and the rooms is just splendid with direct views of the mountains and meadows. The accommodation itself is impeccably clean and really has all the amenities you could need, plus the furniture and decor are perfect, you really feel comfortable Finally, a small gift awaited us on the dining room table I highly recommend this accommodation and I think that for our next visit to the Cantal we will stay there again Many thanks to our host

After a very warm welcome we discovered the cottage, clean and very well equipped. Thanks to Martha, Isabelle and her brothers, we had a relaxing stay with friends, enjoying the beautiful spectacle of nature.

We had a wonderful stay in Moussages, in a beautiful building full of charm. When we arrived, Léa welcomed us warmly and showed us around the house, providing us with all the necessary explanations. The house is very well equipped and offers great comfort, with a breathtaking view of the castle of Auzer as a bonus. We took the opportunity to visit the surroundings, including the village of Salers and the waterfall of Salins, two places full of charm. Despite the sometimes gloomy weather, the pool greatly contributed to making our stay pleasant and relaxing. A very beautiful break in an exceptional setting! Amazing stay at Mona's! Everything is absolutely perfect, the accommodation is beautiful and very well equipped in a small green area, quiet. We had the pleasure of staying in Sabine's chalet. This allowed us to take the accommodation earlier than the scheduled time, we still want to thank her. Peaceful accommodation, with a beautiful view. The pool is really a positive point in this heat. Sabine also gave us very good advice for restaurants and the small hazards of travel. Cosy gîte in a beautiful and peaceful place. Very warm welcome from Laurence (and Petsy) made extra special by the homemade brownies and jam. Gîte is very comfortable and has everything you need for a perfect stay. Loved having breakfast on the balcony. The pool was an added bonus. And our dog loved meeting a new friend Petsy and playing in the large garden. Would definitely recommend and we would definitely go back. Thank you for a relaxing short break Laurence.

We had a pleasant stay at Mees's. The place is quiet, perfect to unwind. Mees was great, full of good tips and very good cook: breakfast and dishes are worth it!

A great very cosy Holiday home with lots of typical French charistics. Great garden and river next to the house. The vilcanoc mountain area is perfect for day trips and mountain bikes. Small supermarket with great croissants 5 min drive from the house.

Short stay but very comfortable. The accommodation is tastefully decorated and very well equipped. The environment is very pleasant and very quiet. The wood stove is a real plus for the accommodation. We'll be happy to go back!

The place was great for the two of us. excellent bedding, pleasant bathroom and living room. thoughtful lighting is a plus as well as outlets everywhere 👍 the road is close but it is very well isolated and so this proximity makes it easy to get around the many hiking trails or sites. In the heart of Cantal, near the Dordogne gorges. You will enjoy the many nearby hikes. This old house made of old stones has been perfectly restored to the tastes of the day with care and with quality materials. It is very well equipped. We were a family of five, each was able to enjoy their own private room with shower and the large shaded garden. It is a real favourite for us who come from the most beautiful department of France, the 64 (a little Basque-Béarnais chauvinism does not hurt...). Cantal and Salers will never replace Ossau-iraty cheese but you can find some GAEC and farm producers around that will make you discover this good cheese made on site!We recommend this place for nature lovers, those who love good things and outdoor activities. A beautiful place. The view from the terrace is beautiful and we were lucky to be able to have all our meals outside. The cottage is comfortable and close to hiking departures. Note: sheets and towels are optional. It's indicated in the listing but a little hidden in the Airbnb interface.

Simply a gem! The renovation of this character building was done with great taste. The level of excellence is very high in all respects. The view is incredible, the living room with a great stove, large friendly kitchen, you feel like you're in a real house that's lived in all year round. Perfect for families with kids. No hesitation. We had a nice relaxing stay in this typical mid-mountain house, with the soundtrack of the nearby herds. The house is extremely well-equipped and the hosts are very welcoming! Our dog also enjoyed it :-) it is 20 minutes from Aurillac, the very pretty Jordanne valley is nearby. The roads are often narrow in the area, so take this into account for your travel times.
