Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Viaduct Harbour, Auckland Central

What a special place to spend a few days in the city. It was a corner of peace surrounded by a mini rainforest that Maureen and Stephan had beautiful curated. They had thought about all the little details, with blankets and a heater as we were going into winter, some supplies of tea, coffee etc, a mini laundry and the icing on the cake was the hot tub. Thank you for sharing this beautiful place! Would highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful house, we had a great stay at Fiona's place! It's a great location too, it was lovely being able to walk down to the beach. Everything is as listed and looks like the photos, would definitely recommend to other guests.

Paula was a great host and the place had everything we could imagine in an AirBnb. Paula's touch of Cheese platter was amazing and definitely enjoyable for whole family as we arrived at midnight. Paula also graciously offered do some basic shopping for us to keep in the kitchen if we needed to eat when we arrived late. Thank you Paula for hosting us

Exceptional, private location with friendly attentive hosts, just minutes from Ponsonby Road. It was so lovely to close the gates into the lush courtyard and enjoy a well-appointed home away from home, with generous interior spaces, comfortable bedding, and all the amenities needed for a longer stay. Gerard is a kind, generous neighbour & host, ensuring we had everything we needed. Just a few blocks from Ponsonby Rd's hospitality scene, with a dairy at the corner, and a bus stop nearby, there's lots to see, do, and explore in this perfect Grey Lynn bubble!

We had an amazing time. Lovely cafes and restaurants in the area, close to the beach for walks. Thank you for your great hospitality.

Our family had a great stay in Auckland! The house was beautiful and a great location. We enjoyed the view out the front of the house, the outdoor gardens and cozy living spaces. We would recommend it to any family looking for a space to stay while in the city. Suzie was an excellent host, even ensuring we had a travel cot for our infant. Thank you and hope to visit again soon!

Amazing studio with gorgeous view! Would definitely stay here again in future. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby, walkable to harbor. Roz and Nick were super friendly and made our stay here unforgettable!

Shannon is a great host who is very prompt in responding. Her place is spotless with all the amenities listed. Location is perfect as touristy spots like Queen Street and Sky Tower are just down the road and there are many restaurants, grocery stores and convenience stores nearby. We walked a lot during our stay here as everything we needed is a short walk away. Very safe and clean streets too. Check in and out process was easy too through lockbox.

Great wee apartment for our family (two adults and 3 children) walkable to all the things we wanted to do in the city but also had parking for our rental car. The kids absolutely loved the pool on site and that they could see fish in the water off the balcony. We would definitely stay again.

This place was amazing!! Very private, peaceful, and an unmatched view of the harbor. The apartment was extremely clean and perfect for our needs. The only downside was that there wasn't free parking. There were plenty of places to park though so it wasn't an issue. Highly recommend!

Our family of four had a great time staying here. Great communication and very helpful with access. Location was soooo good for restaurants, access to the waterfront, Commercial Bay and Britomart. We’d stay again for sure. Everything you need is provided. Secure park was fantastic as was use of the indoor pool area for the kids between outings.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay! The place was so cozy, clean, and exactly as described. The host was truly lovely — always quick to respond and incredibly helpful whenever I needed anything. The apartment was just what we needed. spacous, clean, tidy and close to the town centre.

We really enjoyed our stay at Irene’s. It was great to be so close to the beach and there were lots of shops and cafes within walking distance. It’s a scenic 20 minute drive to Snow Planet is that is part of your holiday plans. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed to make our stay a pleasure. Irene was so friendly, helpful and caring. We would definitely stay again.

Mathilde's place was lovely and clean. The bed was very comfortable with extra bedding available if needed. We did put an extra blanket on the bed as it was a little chilly. The shower and good pressure and water was nice and hot. The night light came in handy as it made getting to the bathroom very easy. It was an unexpected treat to wake up to the sounds of birds and no traffic noise. Was close enough to walk to a local restaurant for dinner. The kitchen has lots of equipment if you decide to cook. Nespresso machine was appreciated for the morning coffee. We would stay again if in the area
