Holiday houses in Vesivehmaa

Spacious apartment in a great location, this is where I want to go again in the summer. Messages were responded to quickly and kindly. We were at a concert at Sibelius Hall, and you could get there along the beach in a few minutes.

Our family really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house , very good location and beautiful well maintained grounds . We also liked the private area near the lake , the pier , the new sauna, everything matches the description and the house is very comfortable . There is everything you need . Also, Hannah and Katya responded very quickly to our requests and questions. We would love to come back again !

Finnish cottage dream at its best! Right by the water, the hammocks climbs in the wind and in the direction of the evening sun. The cottage has all the amenities and very clean. The wooden sauna had a soft steam and the sandy bottom of the beach crowned the experience. And best of all, just an hour's drive to Helsinki! Thanks to the hostess!!

The interior architecture and design are very well-representative of the countryside houses in Finland. There is a wonderful wood-burning sauna and two fireplaces to keep the house sufficiently warm. The kitchen has all the necessary tools and amenities for cooking. One thing to note though is that the fridge doesn’t have a freezer. The house is by a little picturesque hill with pines, birches and rocks covered in moss. On the side of the house, there’s a yard and a grilling side with a nice view to the open fields.

Asikkala's paradise was perfect for our friends' family's weekend away. The yard was beautiful and there was plenty to do for everyone. We saunas, our toddler swam in the tub, dip in the swim, went fishing, made pizza in the pizza oven, played croquet, and dined on the deck. We were a group of 6 couples, with 2 toddlers, 2 babies, and 1 dog. We had a great time, and there was plenty of room for everyone to hang out with.

Apartment was exactly as described, just like the photos! The stay was very comfortable and had everything needed plus more. Easy check in and check out, the location is super peaceful with a private atmosphere. Juha and Paula are great hosts and were very welcoming and helpful the entire time. Gem of a place in Lahti!

Great cottage for a larger group. Cooking, sauna, and spending time on the deck were great. It was nice to go swimming in the nearby lake. Peter responded quickly to our messages and was helpful.
