Two 300-year-old stone houses with original granite roofs — your own little hamlet, a stone's throw from Lavertezzo and the emerald green Verzasca. There's no one else here. Right behind the houses is the chestnut forest, and opposite is a waterfall. At night, you hear nothing but the river and crickets. Casa Müsu, a charming rustic home in Val Verzasca

Casa Müsu is a charming little cottage completely renovated. It is located at the foot of Pizzo Vogorno, halfway between Locarno and the Verzasca pools in Lavertezzo and Brione. The first bedroom is on the second floor of the main body: it has a double bed. The second is ten meters from Casa Müsu: it is accessed by a covered external staircase and has a double bed (as in the photo) or two single beds. A third bed can be added. Casa Müsu has a private parking space.

You arrive by boat. No road, no car, no traffic — just a red cottage on the water in a village that time forgot, and the boat is yours for the whole stay (no licence needed).
