Le Nid is 1 of a set of 2 delightful 3 bedroomed rural gîtes in sunny southwest France. Nestled in a valley 5kms from L’Absie in the Deux-Sèvres. The shared pool is NOW HEATED. There is a wildlife pond and hectare of land where the only sounds you can hear are birdsong, frogs, the wind in the trees and possibly a tractor in the distance. You may even catch a glimpse of a red squirrel. Bounded by a stream surrounded by farmland and from the grounds, you can access walking and cycling routes.

Our cottage has been sympathetically renovated and is a uniquely individual space retaining a wealth of originality, blended perfectly with a contemporary feel. We can welcome 6, with two double bedrooms and a large double sofa-bed in the galleried landing area. A spacious living area leads to a quiet outdoor patio with rural views. The grounds the cottage are located in are surrounded by a large moat which contains unprotected deep water. Unsuitable for young unsupervised children.

It is situated in over 8 acres of fields with 3 fishing lakes where the donkeys and sheep roam free. The panoramic roof terrace will allow you to enjoy the idyllic setting. English really spoken. Il se trouve dans un hameau éloigné de toute route principale mais à seulement 600m du centre du bourg. Il est à mi-chemin entre le centre de pêche de Pescalis et le "Nombril du Monde", à ¾ d’heure de route du Puy du Fou et une heure du Futuroscope.
