Wanted a place near a not crowded beach to spend a week of quality time with the family. Richard’s place was right on target. It’s a bit off the beaten path, but Richard’s lengthy description was spot on in accuracy. He accurately described the lack of nearby places to get groceries and the minimal number of restaurants in the vicinity. Thanks to his info, we easily found a major grocery in route and stocked up on what we would need for the week. Upon arrival, Raphael met us and showed us how to find everything in the well equipped unit and also gave us info on what restaurants were in reasonable driving distance. The only issue of note was the difficulty in regulating the shower temperature, which we learned was a neighborhood issue. In summary, we loved the place - relaxing in the pool, walking the beach, and the warm ocean. Lobster Cove is pretty shallow,so not for surfing or snorkeling, but just fine for us.

Wir haben uns vom ersten bis zum letzten Tag sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist wie beschrieben, alles vorhanden was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt braucht. Doris und Manfred sind hervorragende Gastgeber. Sie haben uns weit über das normale Maß unterstützt und uns wertvolle Hinweise gegeben. Amazing apartment in amazing place! Just 2 min walking for 2 different surf points and 10 from the center. Very cozy quiet and pleasant place. The host is very kind and helpful as well!!! We had a great time and just waiting to come back…

Doordat het appartement op de 2e verdieping is en je tussen de bomen zit krijg je toch een buitengevoel. Je hoort wel wat rumoer en muziek van de restaurants maar dat is slechts matig storend. De open woonkamer en keuken zorgen dat je constant buiten bent. Heerlijk. Dat er geen airco is maakt het soms wel warm. Maar met een ventilator aan is het goed te doen. Ik sta wel achter het milieu vriendelijke concept van Karlien. Netjes afval scheiden. Lekkere kruiden uit haar tuin aanbieden. Drinkwater station zodat je flessen kan vullen. Super leuk hus en super vriendelijke host.

Nous avons passé un super séjour en famille et entre amis à Torio chez Darren. L’appartement est très agréable, les chambres spacieuses. Et la piscine très appréciée 🙂 L’accueil et le suivi très très bien avec Elodie! Nous recommandons!

Dennis was a wonderful host. Communication was definitely a five star! We had a wonderful time in the pool. Air conditioning worked very well and slept great on the beds. Very comfy.

El lugar es muy bonito. Nuestra estadía fue perfecta. Queríamos algo que se sintiera apartado, pero sin estar completamente aislados, y esta casa fue ideal. Tiene todo lo necesario por el precio, y todo fue excelente, incluida la atención.

Bryan was amazing since the moment we booked, giving us all his tips and contacts in morrillo area. The house was comfortable and full of nature around so we could see monkeys in the morning while enjoying breakfast with shade from the jungle. Our favorite was to shower everyday in the open bathroom , will miss it! Thanks Bryan for everything

We had the pleasure of staying at Reenie’s place last week whilst in Panama, firstly the photos really don’t begin to capture how beautiful this home is! We had a wonderful time enjoying the property, pool and beach!! The sunsets are out of this world too!! Reenie and Mark were the best hosts and we feel fortunate to have met them! We will definitely be going back on our next trip to Panama! Thank you Reenie for being the best host and sharing your home with us!

Cedric's place can only be described as Amazing, both as a place and Cedric and Elena as hosts. The listing was clean, looked even better than the photos, was well stocked with top quality appliances and beds; you really can feel and see that the hosts care for their guests and went out of their way to put comfort in ever corner of the house. A big plus was the battery system that they have made available, it was super useful. Cedric and Elena were awesome hosts, their responsiveness and eye for detail really stood out; they accommodated our late arrival by turning on the lights, fans and AC in the unit which made for such a nice detail after a long drive. I would not hesitate to book with them again next time I'm in Santa Catalina. For reference we were 4 in my booking and we had room to spare!

Was a great cozy getaway for the weekend! Beautiful view and peaceful sound of ocean. Comfortable, air conditioning worked well, fiber WiFi, the weather was great during our stay and not a bug in sight or felt. That last may just be this time of year however. The beach in front of house is beautiful view but rocky, you have to walk down to the main beach for sand. Would stay here again!

Joanna was an excellent host, and Richard, who meets you at the house, was wonderful, helpful and kind. We had a few little issues that were proactively dealt with, and whenever we needed advice, Joanna and Richard were always quick to respond. The house is not luxurious and doesn't pretend to be, but it's great value for money given the exceptional location. It's just you, the spectacular views, and your own private beach, and the beach is as close to paradise as I've ever been! Oh, and the Howler Monkeys and lots of different kinds of birds make it a nature lover's perfect retreat. An SUV to reach the house is definitely necessary, but the road/track is fine if treated with patience. The kayaks are great fun. We loved beachcombing at low tide, and watching the hermit crabs go about their daily life. Watching the sun go down was spectacular from the veranda, and enjoying the night sky was a treat too. All in all we loved our stay here, and we definitely hope to return in future.

Toller Aufenthalt! Die Unterkunft war sehr gemütlich und gut ausgestattet. Besonders gefreut haben wir uns über das frische Obst und den Mixer – perfekte Kombi für leckere Smoothies am fantastischen Pool. Auch Kaffee war da, was für uns als Backpacker super praktisch war, weil man den dann nicht immer mitschleppen muss. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen!

Excelente decision, el espacio de la habitación, la dotacion de sabanas , toallas y la decoración en general de primera calidad y muy bien gusto. Todo perfectamente limpio, cocina con todo lo necesario y algo más. El detalle de la canasta de frutas frescas fue todo un hit. Cafetera con suministro de café para preparación. La piscina y su jardin muy decorado y perfectamente cuidado, es el remate perfecto después de un día de jugar con las olas. Nos encantó el lugar, y sin lugar a dudas regresaría al mismo en una proxima escapada a disfrutar el mar de Santa Catalina. Gracias Daniel muy pronta respuesta a todas las inquietudes.

In een woord: Geweldig! Super mooi en stijlvol appartement met heerlijke tuin en zwembad. Zoals het surf strand en het dropje zijn eenvoudig te belopen. Host is erg vriendelijk en denkt graag mee over je verblijf in Santa Catalina en heeft ons in contact gebracht met een surfschool en Coiba snorkel tour. Beide echte must do’s!

We are a small team of amateur (Ham) radio radio operators who were looking for a comfortable / suitable location to set up our radio stations and antennas and make 2-way contacts around the world. This very nicely furnished 2 bedroom apartment worked out great for us! In addition, we were treated to a spectacular million dollar view! The place was clean and well-furnished. The location within the resort/hotel offered us access to the restaurant and bar. We found the food, drinks and wait staff hospitality exceptional. I spent a wonderful sunny afternoon at the pool giving a nice break from our radio activity. Our group of 5 was unanimous in our assessment that we would love yo return to this apartment someday. We had an excellent 2-day stay at Elli's place. Communication and arrival instructions were clear and the place is well located, just a few minutes walk from the beach. The place was clean and well organised, the kitchen utensils were excellent. Would book again. Zigor helped mange the space was helpful with local tips, including offering surf lessons.
