We had a wonderful 4-night stay in Port Owen, Velddrif. Tucked away in a beautiful and peaceful estate, this place was the perfect quiet escape — ideal for our work trip. The surroundings were serene, with absolute silence and nature all around. The home was spotless, well-kept, and had everything we needed. Charmaine was an attentive and thoughtful host — we felt well taken care of from start to finish. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a tranquil, tidy, and refreshing break.

This little gem is in a quiet residential area & provides everything you would need to make your stay enjoyable. It was clean, comfy & stocked with some cooking necessities like spices & oil. The braai area outside has fairy light strings which gives a lovely romantic ambience. We will be back for sure We found the Bergriver Hideaway to be the perfect base for exploring the West Coast area from Langebaan to Eland’s Bay and Lambert’s Bay.

A beautiful stay with fantastic sunrise views over the ocean. We had a windless visit and enjoyed evenings sitting on the porch playing board games - there’s a lovely braai there too. The Spar is very close, which was very convenient. You are at the end of a cul de sac with no one between you and the mountain/ hill behind - the best location in the neighbourhood! Will definitely be back.

We really had a lovely stay. Felt right at home. Everything were very clean and neat. Loved the view and the apartment is so cozy and warm in the afternoons with the afternoon sun warming you up on the cold winter days. This is the place to stay when it is winter. Cherize where a lovely host so welcoming and very friendly. We would always come back to this place again and again.
