Holiday rentals with lake access in Vega Alta

I can’t say enough about our stay and how incredible Noemi was as a host! Her property exceeded our expectations and was stunning. We will for sure be back. I would recommend Neomi’s place to everyone. The house was very clean, the air conditioners worked perfectly, the pool and property was so peaceful and we couldn’t have enjoyed it more. Noemi provided excellent recommendations for places to eat, places to shop, and fun things to do and see on the island. If I could rate Noemi’s property a 6, I totally would 😎 book it! You won’t regret it!

Beautiful hidden gem. Cabin was equipped with everything we needed. Stocked kitchen, clean bedrooms, washer/dry, extra supplies. Fun and relaxing time throughout the property: hot tub, kayak and fishing, beautiful landscape for photos, pool table, and board games. We caught several fish for meals. Be careful not to travel at night and in a small car. The roads are narrow, winding and dark. We would have liked more security for access doors to feel safer at night. We would definitely recommend others who like more adventurous stay.

Evelyn and her family went out of their way to make me feel comfortable from the minute I arrived. Their grandaughter, who speaks English showed me around and picked some fruit from the garden for me to try. They have guavas and bananas growing on their property! She also showed me a beautiful secluded waterfall nearby, with stunning views. They were willing to accommodate my special requests for disposables in the kitchen and were friendly and attentive to all my needs. I needed to also change my dates last minute and they were very flexible and understanding There's beautiful hikes nearby all accessible by car

Spectacular backyard. Great gazebo, so peaceful and beautiful on the lake. Kids loved the pool. We saw many fishes in the lake. A great beach less than 2 miles away (punta salinas). Grocery store is less than 1.5 mile away and many restaurants as well. Rafi was a very responsive host. We had a great time!

Great place to stay right next to the beach. Not too far from San Juan if you want to go into the city, but not too far from more private beaches if you go west. Perfect location to explore the island!

This is one of the best Airbnb properties I have ever stayed at. The pictures honestly don’t even do it justice. I can’t recommend Angel’s place enough. I will definitely be back.

The place is actually better than the description. We loved that the place is far from everything and it’s very quiet. We felt very closed to nature. The views the green of the mountains, the water falls, the rain, the sound of the Coquis at night, the birds in the morning, the roosters singing in the morning, the bulls greeting us, the small lake, everything. The house is well maintained and well prepared with washer and dryer as a plus. I would recommend this place to all nature lovers. We even met the owner of the property, a great guy with a lots of stories to tell.

Hosts are very helpful and responsive, easy check in, comfortable space, very peaceful, quiet and relaxing location to stay by yourself or with partner. I highly recommend staying here and would stay again in the near future.

Great host great place to stay

Just a lovely place to stay. Laura is a kind, generous, and fantastic host. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen had everything you need. The place is gorgeous. This was our (me, wife, 17 year old son) first visit to PR and this beautiful spot in the mountains was such a great place to be. The view of the balcony is amazing. The hike down the lake and back is so fun. The fish were jumping like crazy. The museums she has created are remarkable and Laura is an expert historian. We did a bunch of day trips from the AirBNB which worked out well, though it did involve a lot of driving and exploring which I enjoy so that was all good. But we liked the space so much it was tough to leave each day. Thank you Senora Laura!

My family and I had the pleasure to stay at Nestor’s Airbnb and we have a 3 year old and and 1 year old, we inquired about a pack and play to Nestor and he responded quickly and was able to provide a new pack and play for our stay, this made our stay so stress free because out 1 year old only sleeps in a crib so we were grateful for the accommodation. The place was very clean and had all we needed as a family of four! It was our home away from home! We felt very safe and the area was beautiful and the perfect location.

The apartment is very beautiful and has the advantage of having the beach just across the street.

We had a great stay at Glenda’s lake house! The place was cozy, well-equipped, and had A/C in every room, which was a huge plus. Upon arrival, we were greeted with thoughtful touches like Puerto Rican candies, bottled water, and sodas. The kitchen was also stocked with seasonings, and she even provided beach towels, which made our stay even more convenient. Although we experienced power outages for two nights (which is just part of life in Puerto Rico and out of the host’s control), Glenda handled everything like a pro. Her responsiveness and hospitality made us feel well taken care of. Despite that minor hiccup, we were still extremely satisfied with our stay and would absolutely book again if needed. Highly recommend!

This spot is high up in the mountains even above some clouds. Lake access is a short walk from the house where we were able to enter with our own kayaks. Humberto was quick to respond and helpful with any questions we had before and during our stay. 100% worth waking up early in the morning for the view of the sunrise from the beautiful wrap around porch.

I had an amazing stay here! From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless. The check-in process was smooth, and the home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, it has the most beautiful views of Lago La Plata. We appreciated the thoughtful touches like all the games available and the snacks left for us. Great getaway - Beautiful mix of having your own getaway where you are completely alone but if you want into town and enjoy the amazing town of Cayey (which has one the best Plazas in Puerto Rico on the weekends) you can in 20 minutes. Jerry was a great host!

Our stay at Hacienda brisas del lago was a great getaway for the whole family. It is a big house, everything was very clean, the bathrooms and kitchen were very comfortable and spotless. We were able to use the kayaks, the lake and neighborhood is very safe and quiet. Even during the summer heat, there is plenty of wind which makes it a very nice temperature and at night we were able to use the jacuzzi. So grateful to Ada for renting us her place and her hospitality and prompt responses! Would definitely go back.
