Beach and nature log cabin

A natural and relatively simple accommodation in a charming, timbered cottage on a forest and beach plot with access to lovely forest walks and swimming from the beach, cliffs and jetty. The cottage is located about 7 km from Västervik city center on a plot shared with our family (2 adults and 3 children aged 8-13 years) and our free-roaming dog. There is about 80 m of forest between the cottage and our house, so you live in relative seclusion with forest and sea bay as the nearest neighbor. At the same time, you pass our house on the way to the cottage and often meet up with the dog and host family who move around a lot on the property in the summers. You should appreciate nature and tranquility but you should not be afraid of people or dogs if you are going to enjoy yourself here :) The cottage is a simple timber cottage on 1 1/2 floors with a lot of charm and a lack of modernities in the form of TV. Here, the children can swim and play in the forest instead :) The property is a hilly forest plot, so unfortunately the accommodation is not very well adapted for disabled people. Pets are more than welcome as long as they work well with children and dogs. Well-behaved dogs are welcome to roam freely on the property if they get along well with our own farm dog :) Welcome to a relaxed and nature-oriented vacation at Västerbo!

Summer house by the lake

Relax with the whole family in this home by a lake surrounded by the Småland forests. By the lake you can fish and swim. The cabin is equipped with air conditioning that provides a comfortable indoor temperature even during the hottest days of summer. The house is located just 10 minutes from the summer town of Västervik, and 30 minutes from Astrid Lindgren's world. Within 10 minutes drive, there are several lakes for fishing. The accommodation consists of a house of 100 sqm and a guest house of 25 sqm as well as a terrace of 80 sqm with a view.

Rural farmhouse close to wildlife and nature

Welcome to a quiet, rural accommodation, perfect for those who want to relax and at the same time be close to excursions. About 25 minutes to Västervik and 15 minutes to Gunnebo. In Gunnebo, there is a seaside swimming area and a small grocery store. Toven, one of Västervik's finest lake swimming spots, is about 10 minutes away at Västrum, which also offers a beautiful archipelago. Astrid Lindgren's Vimmerby can be reached in 45 minutes, and the location is ideal for day trips to Kalmar, Linköping, Norrköping and Jönköping.

Newly built guesthouse ‘Ludwig’ in Västervik/Gränsö

Just a few minutes from central Västervik is the Gränsö Nature Reserve, a peninsula close to the sea where nature is allowed to take centre stage. In a quiet area, we rent out our guesthouse with a view of the water and nature as your closest neighbour. Here, you wake up to the sparkling sea and birdsong and fall asleep to the silence of the forest. There are several swimming spots, and the nearest one is about 150 metres from the guest house. You can start hiking trails right around the corner from the house.

In Västervik's archipelago is beautiful Gränsö, which is a peninsula and a nature reserve located about 5 km from the center of Västervik. Västervik became the summer city of the year in 2020. On a unique waterfront plot in one of Gränsö's best locations, we rent out our fresh 56 sqm cottage, from 2013. The cottage has 2 bedrooms + sleeping loft, kitchen and living room in an open plan with a fireplace. The cottage sleeps a total of 5 people. Toilet with shower and washing machine.

Warm welcome to our semi-detached house, which is located in the countryside near the coust between Västervik and Oskarshamn. The house is located in a calm idyllic area, with neighbours around, so it fits you who likes calmness. Earlier it was a cat in the house. Around 2 km from the house, it´s a village called Blankaholm. There you can swim in the sea, icecream café, mini golf and more. You also have the possibility to rent a small boat or go with a boat on a seatrip.

Welcome to beautiful Västervik! The house of 30 sqm contains a fully equipped kitchen, a full bathroom with shower, Bedroom with 2 beds and sleeping loft for 2 people. Pillows, duvets, bed linen and towels are included in the price. Guests make their own beds. Of course, there is a TV, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth speakers. It's only about 10 minutes to Västervik Resort and about 15 minutes to the city center. Note: The house has been expanded in 2025 to get to a proper bedroom.
