Live life in this peaceful and centrally located hotel accommodation down in the southern harbour of Fotö. A home for those who wish to stay on an island but still with proximity and simplicity to Gothenburg. Free car ferry takes you easily here and into central Gothenburg. Fotö belongs to Öckerö Municipality consisting of ten islands, with the proximity to the sea as a matter of course. From Fotö you can reach the other nine islands, either by bridge or ferry. You also have the proximity to grocery store, shopping, restaurants about 3 km from Fotö.

Wonderful cottage with a sunroom that has a sea view

We are renting our cabin which is a real pearl all year round. The location is perfect with 5-10 minutes walk to salt baths and nice viewpoints. With the car you get in 20 minutes to Marstrand and 35 minutes to Gothenburg and we recommend having a car. The cottage is older and simple but has been partially renovated during the winter of 2025. It is located on a beautiful natural plot and has a patio with terrace that has a sea view. The house suit families with children, friends and couples. Max 4 adults but more if they are children.

A unique and peaceful accommodation in the middle of the forest. In this tree house, you live up among the trees in a peaceful and quiet place with animals, birds and nature as neighbors. Here, the noise level is quiet, it smells like forest and the air is clean. If you're looking for a place to unwind, you've found the right place. The house is built of wood from the same forest as the house is in and the insulation is wood shavings from floors and walls. For us, it is important to protect the ecological and local.

It is five minutes walk to the sea and in the bay there is a rowboat that you can borrow. On the island, there is a fish shop and restaurant, also a five-minute walk from the house. Nature on the island is diverse with open sea and cliffs to the west, small farms and forests in the middle of the island.
