Relax with the whole family in this peaceful home. Sörängen is a charming old 19th century cottage with a modern kitchen and bathroom. Other rooms have been renovated but have preserved their old charm. Open fireplace and also wood stove. The house is located in connection to another property where there are sheep and chickens. Otherwise, the house is surrounded by forest and green areas. A smaller river to fish in is a couple of hundred meters. Swimming area within 5 km. Access to simpler outdoor gym, wood sauna, two nice bikes to borrow.

Gästrikeleden passes just outside the residence and only 3 km away flows beautiful Dalälven, another 2 km away is Sandsnäsbadet with nice sandy beach. 13 km to Gysinge with its rapids and Färnebofjärdens national park.

Simple overnight stay in scenic surroundings - close to the E4an

Are you heading north or south in the land and needs a place to stay overnight? Just 10 minutes away from the E4 you will find this peaceful place in nature, at our retreat center. In our large hall, we rent out two simple rooms with place for a total of five people. An outdoor toilet is located 10 meters from the rooms. Bathroom with shower is available during the summer, from mid-May to September. Kitchen is not available. If you wish breakfast or dinner we can arrange it. No smokers please. Most welcome to us!

Small cottage in the countryside

A small cosy cottage on the countryside, in summer surrounded by fields, cows, vegetable land and wheat field. In the winter you have a beautiful view of the landscape. The cottage (‘härbre’ in Swedish) is one of several small outbuildings in a picturesque setting. The building is from the 19th century. The lower floor has been carefully renovated using traditional building preservation methods. There is a kitchenette with cold water, a fridge and a hob. The outdoor toilet is just a few steps away. The shower is in the main building. The forest is just around the corner with good opportunities for shorter or longer walks. Free parking.

Outside there is a large and cozy garden with table, chairs, barbecue etc.
