We had a lovely stay. We had come to spend New Year's Day with our friends and sincerely felt at home. There was everything we needed to cook, we enjoyed the very comfortable accommodation. Everything was great. The house is a little in its juice but we love it … a hidden as we love, a family home and it's nice! Thank you again for hosting us, we'll be happy to come back.

Very pleasant stay in Saint-Jean d 'Angély in a very pleasant house where everyone can keep their privacy according to their wishes. The house is spacious and the bathrooms and toilets allow each couple a relative autonomy in their organization. Meal and aperitifs outdoors are a "must", not to mention the pastry shop on Rue de l 'Hôtel de ville.... in short, a great stay for a family reunion.

Awesome place to stay. Nice amenities. Nice region. Marais Poitevin next door. Good restaurants. La Rochelle and the coasts 50 minutes away. A great house to have a great holiday. But shh .....

We had a great time at Eric and Lydia's. The setting was very nice and the house very comfortable. We had 4 small children and we were able to enjoy ourselves with peace of mind (secure pool, suitable equipment...). We recommend this listing, especially since the hosts were welcoming and available.

We spent 6 days with our 2 children in this place and our stay was perfect! Peaceful and relaxing. Great view with a very large garden. An ideal and secure pool area. The spaces in the house are great, clean and everything is there. The hosts are lovely and available. I recommend 100% if you're looking to meet up with a quiet family.

The name “La parenthèse” alone defines our weekend. An enchanting place decorated with taste. Spaces that allow everyone to seclude or get together. Level amenities and amenities. A responsive host without being invasive. If as a bonus, the weather is good, this house is a real gem. I highly recommend it.

Very nice house for family moments. Very well equipped for children in particular! Very warm and responsive host to help when needed. Properly-equipped kitchen. Peaceful setting and swimming pool overlooking pleasant fields. It should be noted that within 10 min by car there are plenty of great activities (zoo, children's park, nautical base etc.) Thanks to Damien for this week of vacation

A real favorite! The house is even more beautiful than in the pictures, full of charm and perfectly equipped. We created great memories for families or groups of friends. Thank you to Nathalie and Florence for their kind and attentive hosting. I recommend this address without hesitation!

Lynn and Paul are the best!! We had lots of fun playing soccer under the sequoia, swimming in the pool and drinking the fine rose wine of the area!! I’d go back TOMORROW!!

Beautiful villa from the '70s, beautiful spaces both inside and outside. Saturday morning market in Cholet recommended for quality gourmet cuisine.

I had a great time at Emmanuel's place. Everything was perfectly as described, and the apartment was clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable. Emmanuel was an attentive, responsive and very pleasant host. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to stay. Again thank you for this great experience!

This house has the wow factor! Such an amazing space, lots of cool quirky features but didn't feel cluttered. Very relaxing, peaceful, lovely pool, enjoyed the table tennis, football table and the homegrown raspberries! Short walk into the lovely village of Saint-Benoit where we enjoyed the patisserie La Pomme de Pain, and bar/restaurant La Tab' des vin , jardin d'images, and further on to the river for swimming and fishing. Mattieu was a great host, met us when we arrived and gave us some extra local knowledge. Thanks so much for a lovely stay, we'd love to come back again! :)

Our stay at Sandrine’s was great. She had thought about making our kids welcome as well as us. The place is lovely and bigger than the photos show.

Very pleasant stay in a beautiful accommodation, very well equipped that matches the listing description. Jonathan is very responsive. We were unable to close the pool so as not to waste electricity on heating the air.

What an incredible place and wonderful hosts! The gite is beautiful, well equipped and in such a peaceful setting. We loved the pool and grounds and exploring the local area. Jen and Nick were so welcoming and always on hand to provide local recommendations. We cannot wait to return!

Very charming and pleasant villa. Much larger in real life than it appears in the photos and well arranged. The pool is large and pleasant. In addition, our hosts Léa and Vincent were available and very responsive by phone during the stay. Not to mention flexibility for check-in/checkout times. Interesting point to improve, the availability of a little more equipment for daily cleaning, as well as a small instruction booklet for the proper use of electronic devices and appliances.

Kate and Mark James are extremely welcoming and sensitive to the well-being of their guests. Always attentive, they were able to meet our expectations. We also thank Nicolas who was always available to help and advise us. The house is very comfortable, close to nature for bucolic hikes. We had a great time. Thank you to all 3.

had a great stay with Didier and his wife. What a beautiful house. Spatially set up so you certainly don't have to walk in each other's way. However, it is handy with small children and grandmother who came to visit. A very spacious kitchen with all the comforts. I would just bring my own sharp knives that I missed. Clean rooms, kitchen, baby cot and high chair. Also fun games for the kids. Nice homemade tree fort and a swing! The house is in the countryside and trips to a nice town is usually a 45 minute drive. Don't mind this. The pool was a delight for swimming. Unfortunately, we had less than hoped for. But Didier turned on the heat pump for us and the canopy over it and then it is certainly good to spend time in the pool. Our son has overcome his fear of water here and couldn't get away! What a delight to see! We are extremely grateful to Didier and Betrix for our great stay! Recommended!

The accommodation was perfect. We were pleasantly surprised by the rooms which were larger than in the photos. The pool was a real plus. The location was very peaceful, almost cut off from the world. The hosts were very responsive. We had a lovely stay.
