Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Vasiliki

Elena is a very nice person, with a great personality, very communicative and helpful. The house is great, with everything that you need for a good stay, also very clean. It is a beachfront house, you have to walk max. 50m to the beach. The beach is mixed, stone and sand, it is quite private and very clean. I would warmly recommend that house to everyone. Thank you again Elena!

Giannis was extremely helpful, guided us with recommendations and was very generous. His mother greeted us at the airbnb and was extremely kind. Everything was very clean. Super comfortable stay. Highly recommend.

A very nice place. We arrived very late and even delayed but this was no problem at all. We had telephone contact and Chris quickly came to explain and escort us inside so that we could put our daughter to bed. It was very clean and the private pool was super. Now the second villa happened to not be rented so even more privacy but even if it was you have enough privacy. Tip for the island: Rent a car. The cottage is a perfect point to go in all directions from there. Any tip is a few more tea towels and dishcloths for the kitchen.

The villa is set in a very peaceful setting but it is not isolated with lovely places to eat just a couple of minutes walk away and opposite a place where you could hire bikes and water activities equipment as well as go for a drink, play pool and board games and swim in their larger beautiful pool. Having this across the street was a real bonus as we could go for a drink after eating and we had a lot of fun with the people that run the bar and the locals that also go there most nights. The villa is ideal for families and Nikos was always responsive to anything we asked with lots of recommendations for places to go, beaches, restaurants and anything else we asked about. The villa is very well equipped and he even supplied insect repellent tablets and things to burn outside. Overall I would really recommend this accommodation.

Had an absolutely fantastic time here! The location is great, the house is very nice and comfortable; easily accessible by car! She is a fantastic host and is extremely warm and welcoming! She gave us wonderful recommendations and was very easy to get in touch with if we had any questions. We hope to come back in the future!

I read a previous review that mentioned the word soul and indeed this place has soul. It is an old family holiday home built in the sixties on a large parcel of land right on the water surrounded by shade giving trees. Down a few steps to a private swimming spot is perfect. If you want a modern facility forget it but if you’re after an authentic, private and relaxing place this is it, an oasis away from the chaos of Nydri and surrounds. We enjoyed a week here and didn’t want to leave. The well appointed kitchen meant we could cook for ourselves each day. We left relaxed and refreshed. Beautiful apartment right by the sea. I was warmly welcomed by Vasilis. Spacious bedroom in the back of the building where it was very quiet. Lovely seafood restaurant within walking distance. Very nice area that you can explore by bike that you have at your disposal. Thanks Amalia and Vasilis for the pleasant stay and the delicious extras.

We wanted to see how Lefkada looked in winter, so we rented Kostantinos’s villa. We loved it because it allows pets, has central heating, is spacious, and has a beautiful garden. We loved our stay there also because it was very quiet and relaxing.

We had a lovely week at Efi's villa. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. The villa is in a beautiful location and is so peaceful. It was spotless and gave us everything we were after, with enough space for a family of four including two teenage boys! We chose not to get a car whilst we stayed as there were a number of places to eat and beaches within a 20 minute walk.This was ideal for us as we wanted a relaxed, slow paced and fuss free week. However, it is a little hilly so unless you're prepared for that it may be worth getting a quad/bike or car for ease of getting around. We can't praise Efi and her mum enough, they were so attentive and we would definitely recommend the villa to anyone looking for a quiet getaway in a beautiful location.

An incredible surprise! The arrival at the villa with the song of cicadas, the view that reveals itself at every step, a splendid landscape, sea and mountain views, the swimming pool immersed in this Mediterranean paradise with aromatic herbs all around, thyme, rosemary, lavender etc … a relaxing scent and so synonymous with summer, a haven of peace that awakens all the senses and invites physical and spiritual rest. The surroundings are great, you can swim anywhere on the island, all the restaurants we went to are delicious with local and fresh products. Both the villa and the setting were perfect. And the icing on the cake, the lovely hosts, super responsive, very kind and we even had the right to an intervention by the cleaning ladies during our stay, not to mention the many small touches that the host offered us in the villa, like wine, fruit, eggs etc etc very nice after a long journey. Thank you and see you next year.

Villa Pinea was every bit as glamorous and luxurious as the pictures suggest. The bedrooms were all spacious with excellent en-suite facilities, the large open-plan kitchen / sitting room was ideal to escape the sun - but the real highlights were the fabulous pool, (with loungers and hammocks and huge sunshades on the side) and the upstairs terrace which caught the breeze and was an excellent place for a relaxing drink as the sun went down. So, the villa was ideal - but so too was the area. Vasiliki is a nice place for browsing the shops and has an extensive range of restaurants. Sivota was an unexpected delight. Afteli was our favourite beach - but there are plenty to choose from. A day exploring the coast by speedboat was a real highlight. We were a family of four - mum, dad and two daughters in their 20's - and we had the most wonderful holiday. Vaso at Lefkada Travel came up with great recommendations and couldn't have been more friendly and helpful.

it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The booking process was seamless and user-friendly. I appreciated being able to communicate directly with the host to ask questions and clarify details before my arrival. The photos and descriptions on the listing were accurate, and I knew exactly what to expect when I arrived. The property itself was stunning. It was clean, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated. It felt like a home away from home, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The host had even left a little welcome basket with handmade snacks etc. which was a thoughtful touch. The location of the property was also perfect. It was in a quiet neighborhood, away from the tourist crowds. Overall, my stay at this Airbnb property was fantastic, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and memorable travel experience. Thank you again to the host, we are very happy to have met them and we will visit them again next year.

Nikolaos and his wife were great hosts, easy to communicate with and responded quickly. The villa was perfect for families and they were very accommodating for the needs we had for our toddlers including two travel cots. They added little touches like a little baby bath for the downstairs shower. Swimming pool was lovely and Nikolaos cleaned it every evening. Restaurants nearby are good and mini market has all the essentials. Defo recommend and will visit again hopefully

Great value for the money. The views are amazing and even though it's located in a small village we had plenty to do. There is a local bakery nearby with delicious pastries and a restaurant with traditional food and Greek music.

Beautiful old stone house that has been in Eleni’s family for generations. Really well maintained with everything we needed. Beautiful view over the water to Ithaca. We made short drives and walks to local beaches, local village to eat (great supermarket there) and trip to Assos and Ficardo. Loved it.

Such a lovely stay at Antonella’s villa. Loved everything about it. Comfortable and stylish. Everything you need is close to hand. Especially loved the local beach 2 mins walk away - great for sunrise swims. Great location from where to explore the whole island.

Konstantinos’s place was exactly what we were looking for - secluded, tranquil and had everything we need for a relaxed stay.

Great place in an ideal location. Pleasant stroll up the beach into town, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well kitted out. Theodoros was very helpful and communicative, he made check-in and check-out simple and flexible

Sofo grew up in the area and has an insiders understanding of Lefkada and Greece in general. Janna and he have rebuilt the home in which Sofo grew up and it is an impressive and beautiful structure, timeless really, constructed to very high standards. They are a friendly and hospitable couple and we thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them and learning about Vassiliki, Lefkada and Greece! they were spot on with locations to visit, restaurants, and local color. We will be certain to return to update them on our future trips to other spots in Greece that we now plan to visit. We will forever remember their kindness and the great conversation we had at their beachfront bar with their pet/friend Merlyn nearby. Our stay at their place was a highlight of our extended travels through northern Greece and we highly, highly recommend staying at Sofo & Janna's Villa, and making the detour to Vassiliki if your plans take you to Lefkada. The southern coast of Lefkada is historic and beautiful.
