Beachfront holiday rental in Vashon Island

Such a wonderful cabin. It was super cozy and was the perfect get-a-way for our fam of 3 + 1 dog. For a place that is dog friendly, you could not tell! It was super tidy and clean and simple. Fished right off the beach, had fires and also appreciated the tv for movies at night and games. It’s in the description, but just make note of the pathway down! It’s well maintained, but if it’s rainy it can be a little slick. It definitely would not deter us from coming back but if you have a hard time mobility wise, it would be trickier! This place is 10/10

We had a wonderful get away Eagle Point Cottage. The view was incredible. They really thought of everything to make a fun, comfortable, relaxing, and safe getaway. We had an amazing time kayaking and got to see lots of wildlife. They even reached out to let us know about an opportunity for a possible Orca sighting (we didn’t see one but did enjoy all the seals and sea lions while kayaking). They also had lots of indoor activities for rainy days. Check out was easy. I would definitely recommend this place and plan to return again in the future.

Martha and her husband were so nice even though we only seen them twice during our week stay. Both times Martha was super friendly and knowledgeable. there were beautiful views from the back yard of the property and right down the road aswell. my girlfriend and i had a great time exploring the Olympic national park and whole peninsula from her place. we will definitely be back to this amazing state and would stay here again in the future. Thank you again.

Loved this home. What views. What fun harvesting Oysters and Steamer Clams. Very cozy and warm home. Loved the beds. The view is to die for. the house was well stocked. Had all we needed for a peaceful winter/spring outing in Union WA. Thanks for hosting Kevin!

Highly recommend. I went 2 nights for a solo adventure. Very peaceful, the property in total is amazing, the view mesmerizing. So many different birds to see! Will definitely be back. Town is small and sweet. Kind locals. If it’s your thing, the episcopal church on main road north of town offers to all a beautiful labyrinth set in a wooded area. Very powerful walking meditation.

One of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed in! A little piece of heaven. Incredible views of the water and yard from every room in the house. Plentiful toys books and games for the kids- we didn’t even turn on the tv. The kitchen was a dream to cook in- very well stocked. Comfortable beds and linens very thoughtfully curated. Matt’s home is a treasure.

Our second visit and as wonderful as the first. A home away from home. We are already looking at summer dates! Thank you so so much for sharing your beautiful home.

Overall we had a wonderful stay at Damian’s beach house. You can tell they love it and stay here themselves. We loved all the decorations and thoughtful touches. Damian communicates well and is responsive. Just a heads up that Herron island does not have any stores on it and you take a ferry to get there. Overall the ferry was an easy process. If you have littles I would bring a portable baby gate for the bottom and top stairs like we did. Step stairs that have gaps between stairs. The beds are very firm which was fine for us but just an fyi. They have lots of life jackets, water shoes, towels, spices, appliances, silverware etc. which were very helpful. The pool and hot tub were delightful.

A one of a kind property that we will certainly use again. Shelly is terrific!

My friends and I had the best time here ! Lots of comfortable hang out spaces , lots to do, and we are already trying to find what our next trip back is going to be. Wish we stayed for another day

What a great stay at Jeffrey’s place! The check-in was smooth, and the space was huge (so much more than I was even expecting). The amenities looked inviting, and the condo has everything for cooking and keeping things tidy. I would recommend the Fred Meyer in nearby Shelton for groceries and anything fresh you might want, it seems more accessible than supermarkets in Belfair. The spot was extremely private and peaceful, and having our own walking space and beach for the resort was a really convenient touch. Thanks again for a lovely visit!

Michael was an excellent host and the lodging was perfect for a weekend get away. 10/10, will be booking again in the future.

Really enjoyed the stay and the host was great. Enjoyed the kayak and hot tub, and wildlife kept us entertained. Close amenities and beautiful view made it the peaceful getaway we were hoping for!

Beautiful place to stay with large windows facing the water and incredible views. Enjoyed seeing seals, and the Great Blue Heron exploring the water. Beds were comfy and kitchen well-stocked. Community is very peaceful and quiet and enjoyed many walks/runs on the paths. Would absolutely stay here again!

The house and location were wonderful! Very clean, and a beautiful view! The space was comfy and cozy, and everything was there to cook a nice meal (except the food, of course). Loved the walking trails, and the easy access to the beaches. We had a great time and even scheduled another short visit for August! We highly recommend this home.

I rented this home for a long weekend in January and it was wonderful! The downstairs area has a fantastic kitchen (it's large, well-stocked with small appliances, and a great space for those who love to cook and bake), it has a large table for dinner and games, and a very cozy living area with a couch, giant bean bag chair, and gas fireplace. We certainly felt at home here! There is immediate beach access from the house and it's a short drive into town. The host, Kirsten, was super responsive and helpful. From the beginning, I knew that we were in good hands and would be well taken care of by her. I would note that the main bedroom, the one with the largest bed and fireplace, is not in a private room but is in an open loft space. It made for an interesting and less-than-ideal bedroom setup when sharing the house with a larger group of people. Despite the lack of walls and privacy, the room itself was quite nice - the fireplace kept it warm and the view from the bed was fantastic.

I came to Kenny and Kelly's beautiful home to enjoy some time in nature. I expected to have good views and a restful time - What I did not expect was the gorgeous surround view from the master suite and the tranquility of the entire stay. We watched the tide every morning. My partner and I saw birds of all kinds. Waking up to a light dusting of snow on our last two mornings was magical. During our last breakfast, we watched an otter come out of the water and crawl along the beach! We were surrounded by nature, and the many windows in the home allowed us to watch from the warmth and comfort of inside. Watching the snow fall onto the water from the hot tube is an experience is will always cherish! At every corner of this home, you will find luxury, comfort, and relaxtion. I cannot recommend this stay enough! Thank you Kenny and Kelly!

This was the prefect spot for our group. The accessibility was so appreciated and the kids LOVED bouncing from the hot tub to the canal. We had great luck with the spring weather and so enjoyed spending time on the huge deck overlooking the water.

This was my second time staying at this amazing home. The home is very nice, new and spotless. It’s a very comfortable place to stay. And it’s right on the water with spectacular views of Mt Ranier. It’s also close to Sunrise Beach Park that has fun hiking trails. And the town of Gig Harbor is a gem. Both of my stays were perfect. And it’s only about 600 steps from parking to the house - and it’s a beautiful walk along the water. I can’t recommend this house strongly enough.

We enjoyed our stay here. Everything is as described in the photos and descriptions. What we didn’t expect was the peace and tranquility provided by being on Stretch Island by a state park, far away from any major roads or disturbances. We were a group of 6, and felt comfortable at Emily’s home. We’re looking forward to our next trip back!

Beautiful location and nicely updated home! Our trip was for attending a celebration of life. This home was peaceful, serene, private and provided a comfortable place to clock out for each day and relax. Early morning coffee was much enjoyed while watching the sunrise through the many windows and unblocked views of the water. I’m a huge fan of natural light, and this was IT! The sky lights, many windows, beautiful. Would definitely book this place again.

We loved our stay in Belfair. The view of the water and mountains is outstanding. The bedroom situation worked out well for us. The driveway is what I would consider very challenging to pull out safely. It’s not for the faint of heart. That being said, I would still stay there again, especially since I know to just roll down my windows and listen for traffic. Lovely home lovely view
