Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Van Buren County

Everything was amazing! We enjoyed our stay very much. Mikayla was so accommodating for our last minute trip. Everything was exactly as described. We will definitely book the cottage again.

Location was perfect, quiet street, and clean as expected.

Devyn has thought of everything. I missed the part that said heated bathroom floor so that was a VERY nice surprise as the mornings were still quite chilly. Our party loved the open layout and will definitely be keeping this option as a favorite Air BnB in the area.

We were in Michigan for a girls trip and chose Holly's place because of the school house vibe and the hot tub. Two of the women are school teachers. Expect a 10-15 minute drive to South Haven for shopping, the beach, and food. It is pretty secluded in the woods. This is a very clean house with all new furnishings and well taken care of. Beds were comfortable, laundry items supplied, kitchen furnished, and we had a nice welcoming basket with bottled water and popcorn when we arrived. One thing we were curious was about the history of the school house so some reading material on this would be a nice addition to the TV stand. Very nice place to get away and have privacy. If I would change one thing it would be more window/door coverings in the living room and dining room so if you wanted to close them you could. Would definitely stay again if ever back in the area, thanks Holly!

This is our second time staying here. Plenty of stuff for my boys (9,11,13) to do. They spent their days fishing and kayaking. Beautiful view from the backyard!

We had a lovely stay! Everything we needed was provided at the house, it was clean and cozy, and the hosts were amazing. Proactive, checked in to see if we needed anything, and responsive to questions. I will absolutely book this place again the next time I come to St. Joe!

Hosts were very responsive. The house was clean, nicely decorated and had everything we would need. We felt very at home here. If all airbnb's are like this, I won't stay in hotels anymore, it will be airbnb's for me (this was my first airbnb experience).

Had an awesome stay, the Airbnb itself is very nice and the woods on the property are beautiful. Jennifer was insanely kind and helpful and offered every amenity you could think of, can't wait to stay at this one again.

Loved the uniqueness of this property, which was both charming and comfortable. Beautiful grounds, great location that was walkable to shops, beach, lighthouse, eateries, etc. Would gladly stay again!

Very cool place! Less than a mile from downtown, totally walkable. They have a cooler and beachbag. I believe the building was originally an old school and was redone into a bunch of units. It looks awesome inside! High ceilings, tall windows. We did not have opportunity to enjoy all the extras available in the buillding and will have to stay again for longer.

The location is perfect — just a short walk to all the shops, restaurants, and fun of downtown. The home was clean, organized, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The pool was a fantastic bonus and made our trip even more relaxing. Highly recommend for a convenient and enjoyable getaway!

This unit was very comfortable and very spacious. It really has everything you need - towels galore, pool and beach amenities (chairs,noodles,cooler,etc), cleaning products, extra mirrors, cords, kitchen stuff - even those toiletries that you might have forgotten. The beds and bedding were very comfortable which is always lovely on a vacation! Patricia was so easy to work with and always answered my questions quickly. The pool was nicely heated and clean. The beach was mostly deserted so I felt like it was my private beach! The walkway down to the beach is paved and renting the golf cart made it even more of an adventure to go up and down that hill! I plan to be back!

Not only was the place peaceful and serene it was clean and perfect. She allows you in to her barn to visit with the horses. the little dogs were great. 1 of the young ladies gave me hay to feed 1 of the horses. the sunset last night was beautiful. A great way to celebrate 20 years of marriage.

Very lovely and relaxing place to stay for a few days! Next to a beautiful lake and not far from a few small towns. South Haven beach and the nearest bigger towns are about 20-30 minute drive through some beautiful countryside scenery. The room is the perfect size for two people, and was clean and quiet. Highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful over night stay in this beautiful and comfortable cabin. The fire pit was our favorite part. The road to the state park was a bit noisy but it didn’t bother us. Would definitely recommend.

This place was exactly what we needed for a weekend of rest and relaxation and catching up of old friends! Inside was cozy and calming. We enjoyed the outside deck for lunch and the table was spacious. While it may have not had a formal full kitchen, they had everything you could need utilizing small appliances and key basics (olive oil, seasonings, foil, etc). The bed was very comfortable and the sofa bed worked well. We enjoyed completing a puzzle that was in the dresser along with other games, toys, and coloring books! We didn’t use the TVs but appreciate that they were an option if the weather hadn’t been as good. WiFi worked great. The location is less than a mile to Hagar Beach which is a lovely, clean park/beach with steps down that we took advantage of on multiple days. We will definitely be back!

The place itself was nice and updated providing us with everything we needed. We loved that it was so close to everything. And it was a bonus to have the pickleball court, firepit, and hot tub.

this was my third year coming back to Darin's little paradise. he really goes out of the way with building an unforgettable experience! I'll be back again!

We stayed at The Plant House, which is in the middle of everything on the property, but private enough. We enjoyed the beautiful private lake on the property and the wooded area to walk around. We swam there with our daughter several times, and paddled around, and the property itself has a lot of things to do like basketball, volleyball, and tennis. The horses are friendly if you bring them an apple. It's only 25 minutes away from most things so we took adventures to see local shops, get ice cream, and visit Lake Michgan.

We had such an amazing stay on Jim's property. The lake, easy to get to in a short walk, was very serene with a ton of activities to do. We pedal- and paddle-boarded and also used the aqua-cycle! We also sat around the firepit and saw a ton of shooting stars. The bikes were also great, and it wasn't a far drive from South Haven where we went to the farmer's market and would have gone to the beach if it were warmer. Although there were two RVs with people also on the front of the property, it still felt pretty private and everyone kept to themselves. The most interaction with other people was walking on the boardwalk to the lake and hanging out on the dock. Such a fun weekend!
