Holiday rentals with lake access in Van Buren County

This is a hidden gem! Our group stayed here for a weekend and had an awesome time. We loved the hot tub, the cozy couch and big common spaces, the tricked out finished garage space, and easy access to the lakes (both by kayaking or a nice 25 min path walk). Aaron is a phenomenal host. He stocked the place with anything we could’ve needed and more. Would stay here again for sure. Only knock is we overestimated the number of bedrooms by 1, but that might’ve been our own fault. We had someone sleep on the nice big couch so it wasn’t an issue.

A group of two couples had a wonderful stay at the cabin. It has beautiful views of the lake where we enjoyed mornings and sunsets from the living room and the little balcony in front. The first floor has the living area and kitchen, plus a bathroom and a bedroom (double bed) without views. It also has a small balcony right outside the living room. The lower level has a kitchenette (plus another full-size fridge) with a small dining table, laundry, and a larger bedroom with two double beds with a bunk bed as well. This room has great views of the lake and onto a larger patio. One level lower is the waterfront and a dock. The place was clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. We also took advantage of the outdoor gas grill. It was a bit too cold to use the outdoor dining table, but the lower level deck is very nice and has a swinging bench. We would definitely book again!

This place was great! Beautiful living area with huge windows out to the lake. Outdoor spaces were also inviting. Clear instructions and bathrooms were clean and stocked well. Highly recommended.

We had a great time in Coloma. The house was spacious and had everything we needed. The location on Little Paw Paw lake was perfect for family time on the water. There was plenty of things to do nearby in South Haven as well. Graham was communicative and accommodating. Definitely recommend this house for a kid-friendly and family fun trip!

Awesome home with a beautiful scenic view. Quiet secluded neighborhood with a private beach. Would absolutely recommend to anyone! We loved our stay and would love to stay at Jodi’s home on our next trip to Benton Harbor!

The Airbnb was great! Very clean and exactly as pictured. Loved all the outdoor space options! Michele was a great host- very responsive and helped us out when there was a weather emergency. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful surroundings and a very short walk to the lake is how we started and ended our stay at this amazing property. Our family felt at home while celebrating a special event in the area and we had all the comforts of home. Thank you for this wonderful stay.

Our family had such a great time here and we were super impressed by this house! Everything was even better than in the photos. The house is really a cool vibe and is super well stocked with everything you need in the kitchen, plenty of towels, and lots of games. The beach was so beautiful and we could count on one hand how many other people we saw on the beach during our four days there - super peaceful and private! We hope to be back again soon!

I just love Eagle Lake, it's so beautiful and peaceful out there. The cottage offers a stunning view of the lake from its deck. Stephaney has kayaks and paddle boats available while you are staying there. Keeps the kids entertained for sure. Will definitely stay there again!!

Beautiful space located extremely close to the beach and downtown area. We left our car parked in the lot the entire weekend and were able to easily navigate throughout the area. The apartment was spacious and clean! Angela and team provided easy communication and instructions throughout the entire process. Would definitely stay again! Thank you!

My two girlfriends and I stayed here for two nights and it has the most beautiful view of Lake Michigan! We arrived later in the evening and were so thankful that our host left us with restaurant menus and recommendations, we loved the pizza. Place was clean and very well stocked with linens and even coffee and some water in the fridge. The beach is a steep staircase away (it was a bit rough, and my legs hurt, but it’s worth the trek). Also thank you sooo much for letting us use your beach chairs! We stayed on the beach from sunrise to sunset. It was magical and the views are to die for! Our only complaint would be the lack of communication that the host would be staying on site during the same weekend as us. The listing brags about a private beach and yet at one point the hosts wife appeared 15-20 feet sitting directly behind us reading a book. We felt like teenagers being watched by our mother. We decided to take a walk, and when we came back she was gone, but it was weird.

Loved the uniqueness of this property, which was both charming and comfortable. Beautiful grounds, great location that was walkable to shops, beach, lighthouse, eateries, etc. Would gladly stay again!

The location is excellent! Very walkable to town and Lake Michigan. The bed is on the firm side if you like that and bedroom is small. Netflix available was a plus.

I had an amazing stay at Scott Lake! The building where the AirBnB is located is absolutely beautiful, and I loved learning about its history. The area is perfect—private and peaceful, yet with plenty to do. My friend and I had a fantastic time kayaking on the lake and spending the evening by the bonfire under the stars. We’re already looking forward to visiting this place again!

Sameena was wonderful and extremely responsive. This was one of the cleanest Airbnbs we have been to. We had three toddlers with us and weren’t worried about the cleanliness of the floors, walls or surfaces. The very pleasant cleaning woman lives close by if anything comes up. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need to cook a meal. The only inconvenience is that there isn’t a washer and dryer in the home but there is one available to use down the street with clear instructions on how to get there. Overall this was a wonderful experience with plenty of space!

Great place to stay for my family of 3! Very cute, spacious, clean, welcoming and so close to downtown and everything you need! Claire was very responsive and easy to talk to/ask questions. Highly recommend :)

Fantastic location, close to downtown but the loudest noise besides a little thunder were the waves hitting the beach. Definitely booking again.

This was our second stay at this cottage and it was perfect for our family of 4 and our pup! Cozy, clean, and close to all we wanted to do!

Can’t say much more than what’s already been said, although we decided this is the exact type of house we’d love to build some day, and we hope to stay at Jean’s and Van Auken Lake again and again. Jean was also extraordinarily communicative and helpful as we found our bearings. We loved coming home to the Aframe after our days exploring the area and spending time with family nearby.

Kelly was easy to work with, had great communication, was very accommodating, and the cottages were so cozy & quaint! The biggest plus was getting the opportunity to use that amazing pontoon boat and getting out on the lake. We would definitely stay at this lake again! What a fun area. Having such a fun time we started looking at Kelly’s other properties for future getaways!

We choose Trevah’s place for our family weekend getaway. It was fun. My granddaughter enjoyed the spacious home. She answered our questions in a timely manner and was helpful getting us connected with the Marina to rent a pontoon for the day. Our family had a blast. The one thing that we all had to get used to was the lack of window shades, specially for the sunrise. Don’t get us wrong. We loved all the windows. But it was something to get used to. Definitely would will consider coming back. Thank you Trevah for sharing your home with us. Otherwise lovely home.

The place was cute and homey! It was private which I loved. It was a little bit of a drive to many locations. Michael is great about replying to messages right away. I definitely felt at home at this get a way.

When you walk in you beautiful floors and a very nice air freshener. Comfortable beds and couches also a very nice and chill neighborhood. We would’ve like to stay longer but next time for sure we will.

The cottage was spotlessly clean. Beautiful setting. Very comfortable. Melinda is an excellent host. The cottage is in walking distance to all the best restaurants. Melinda's cottage is wonderful and we had a great stay!
