In the same courtyard there is also a wood-fired sauna, which is available to guests by appointment. The center of Savitaipale is about 17 km away. The nearest beach is about 7 km away, in a former stone quarry. 18 km away is Lepänkanto beach, which is shallow and sandy. The beach also has a barbecue canopy.

During the summer of 2026, the lake water level is exceptionally low, as is the case elsewhere in Eastern Finland. So swimming may be difficult in shallow areas.

Our own summer house is near by (at 150 meter distance) thus help and additional services are often easily found. English and German are spoken by the hosts Timo and Tuula.
