Amazing appartment with everything you need . Parking space may be a little tricky to enter with big car, but for small one is good. Ideal location to explore area by car. Very nice Loches market twice a week 3 min from home. This was a perfect vication. Highly recommended!

We were only there for one day and it was the perfect spot, very spacious and clean, in the centre of this cute little town. It’d be great for a longer stay. Just downstairs and around the corner is the main road with all the shops and restaurants. We see no other reviews with a responsiveness issue, so we just got unlucky; we’d agreed on a 2:30pm check-in upon booking, we messaged the host the day of check-in at 9:30am to touch base, and she only replied an hour before check-in to inform us it wasn’t available until 3:30pm instead. We only had one day there and it caused us to rush through exploring one of the two castles we had planned on seeing. If you need a place to store your bags before the unit is available, take note it’s on the first floor in a communal space under the stairs to go up to the unit. It’s a very safe town but we just didn’t want to risk it so we put them on the staircase leading to the unit (3rd floor). Also FYI - The spiral staircase is very steep and narrow.

This place was Spacious; very Spacious for just my husband and I. Loved It!! Walking distance for a lot of stores and restaurants. If You really want to treat yourself go to Le Reserve-it was amazing!! Get the Apple for dessert. Eating at and living near the Clock Tower and an easy walk to the Chateau d’ Amboise was perfect. Take a cold bottle of water if you’re walking to Leonardo Di Vinci’s home. It’s worth the walk, but it is a workout, especially with no Cold Water. The chime on the Clock Tower at the 1/2 hr made me smile. Reminded me I was in France every-time! I think it stopped at 6 pm daily. I would not only return I would live here!! Merci

Logement décoré avec beaucoup de goût, proche du centre ville d'Amboise qui est donc accessible à pied. Ménage impeccable. La place de parking privée est appréciable. Nous avons pu profiter du joli patio avec salon de jardin et table pour manger. Cuisine bien équipée (lave vaisselle, Nespresso, grille pain, bouilloire). Tout le linge de maison est fourni, même un torchon..! ce qui nous est rarement arrivé en Airbnb. Très bon accueil de Philippe et petites attentions appréciables (madeleines et bouteilles d'eau fraîches). Seul bémol, le logement est sombre car il n'y a qu'une fenêtre équipée d'un filtre dépoli et elle donne directement sur la rue en rez-de-chaussée donc difficile de la laisser ouverte. La porte d'entrée est une porte fenêtre mais cela reste insuffisant pour faire entrer la lumière. En conclusion, malgré ce petit bémol c'est un beau logement que nous recommandons pour visiter Amboise sans prendre la voiture.

La Quintessence was the perfect place to stay for a long weekend in Amboise. The apartment is spacious and comfortable, with everything you could need to use. Sophie is a great host, with a long list of great recommendations which made the weekend easy and enjoyable. I would definitely come back!

Le logement est très bien placé et facile d’accès. Nous avons pu profiter de la terrasse au soleil ! Nous avons rencontré les hôtes qui sont très sympathiques et disponibles. L’appartement est conforme aux photos, très propre et avec tout le nécessaire. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir ! 😁

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans le logement de Sébastien. Parfaitement situé, à quelques pas de toutes les commodités, ce logement est à la fois confortable, lumineux, calme, spacieux, d’une propreté irréprochable et décoré avec goût. Il correspond en tout point aux photos et dispose de tout le nécessaire pour accueillir confortablement quatre adultes. Le stationnement à proximité a été simple à trouver. Nous recommandons ce logement sans aucune réserve.

Après une journée à Beauval le gîte de Melanie est le parfait combo entre proximité et confort. Tout est prévu pour que l’on s’y sente bien comme à la maison tant sur le côté décoration que sur les équipements. Je recommande vivement😊

Logement spacieux très bien équipé. Le calme absolu dans un cadre magnifique. Comme il a fait beau nous avons plus profité de l'extérieur que du superbe salon. Equipement supérieur à la description. Deux chambre en enfilade mais cela ne nous a pas gêné.

Nous avons passé deux jours merveilleux dans ce beau logement accompagné de son jardin très agréable et calme. La literie était parfaite. Anne-Laure a été très accueillante et nous a conseillé de nombreux lieux. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

It was wonderful to stay in a home connected to the history of the Loire area and its architecture. We loved the elegant, tall windows, the high ceilings, the wide hallways, the fire places, the lovely lounge and dining rooms, the views of the climbing roses from the bedrooms along the back side of the house, the spacious, main bedroom and the large garden with it comfortable furniture. We ate outside and enjoyed the garden. The kitchen is pretty but a little narrow for a couple of people to work in there at the same time. It is well equiped, with everything you need to prepare meals. The main bathroom is spacious. The second bathroom is bath only with shower attachment in the bath. It was fine for us. The house is decorated with soft, pastel wall paper and is quite sparse in its decoration which I loved because I could enjoy the structures of the home without them being hidden by too much decoration. We loved our stay and would stay again. Carol also kindly looked after us.

The little house has lovely furnished rooms and most of what equipment you would need, all bar a chopping board to cut up the local fresh bread from the bakery and sadly only one champagne glass! A simply lovely quaint French village which had its own bakery on the doorstep, small shop with a bar and local restaurant which was very accommodating with a good menu with interesting dishes. Close enough to larger towns and supermarkets for provisions. A very peaceful space with just the birds and the local church bells to add to the over all experience of a truly French Airbnb.

Logement très facile d'accès à proximité du centre de Châteauroux et du lac de Belle-Isle. De nombreuses chambres, un jardin arboré très agréable, et de nombreuses places de stationnement sur la rue, le logement coche de nombreux critères de praticité. Les échanges avec Christophe ont été fluides, pratiques et toujours réactifs.

On ne peut trouver meilleure prestation correspondant parfaitement à la description faite sur le site. L'humilité de nos hôtes par rapport à leur "noviciat" en AirB&B et leur souhait de recueillir toute critique ou proposition d'amélioration sont très louables. Mais comme il est précisé dans nombre d'avis publiés avant le mien, Jean-Noël et Cathy sont déjà au top. Aussi, les éventuelles améliorations seront de légers détails par rapport à la situation générale. Merci encore à eux pour l'agréable séjour que nous avons passé chez eux.

Merci pour ce court moment. Je suis resté qu une seule nuit ce qui n est pas très représentatif. en tout cas Muriel m a transmis toutes les informations et son logement a été facile à trouver et était très propre.

Bel appartement très bien situé à proximité du Zoo de Beauval notamment. Thierry et son épouse sont des hôtes chaleureux et accessibles, disponibles. A recommander sans hésitation.
