Monthly Rentals in Val d'Herens

We spent 2 nights in this beautiful apartment, extremely well equipped and maintained. The terrace is simply extraordinary, with sun from late morning until evening. The surroundings are very peaceful, with a very beautiful view of the mountains and the surrounding fields and cows grazing right next to the house. The owners who live upstairs are lovely and very welcoming, you feel at home. Thank you so much for this beautiful welcome!

We really enjoyed Colette's cottage with its view from the master bedroom and living room to the mountain. Colette has delicate touches with chocolate eggs for Easter, toys for kids (all ages) and even books for adults (great snow fiance on local legends). It has all the comforts. There is a nice hike from the cottage with waterfalls, forest and panoramic views. The accommodation is 30 minutes from the start of the hike to the blue lake of Arolla where you can find shops or otherwise very close to Saint Martin for simple amenities. Good to know: to access the chalet by car, it is a very small alley.

Responsive host (quick response to our questions) and very friendly. Beautiful apartment, very well equipped. The place is very quiet in the countryside with the sound of water and cow bells in the pastures. I recommend it!

The most wonderful and kind hostess - happy to do anything for you! The apartment is so beautiful and Sophie really has thought of everything you could ever need! Our only regret is not being able to stay longer!
