Ved vatnet er det fint å fiske og nyte stillheten. Utsikta frå verandaen er vakker alle årstider. Hytta har innlagt strøm, ikkje vatn. Vatn til drikke, oppvask og stell hentar du i elva. Når du kjem til hytta står det 3×10 liter vann der. Ynskjer du å finne på andre ting, er det 30 min med bil til Voss sentrum.
