Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Vågan Municipality

The house is located on a beautiful hill overlooking the ocean & surrounding mountains, but with winter conditions a good car is definitely recommend. It’s cozy & the bedroom with the fireplace and chairs overlooking the area is stunning. Things to improve: Include timber (the owner was so kind & brought us some because we didn’t know we have to bring our own), maybe lower the price a little bit, the check in & checkout times & also making the beds ourselves we hoped it would be included in the amount of money we paid. But that’s only our opinion and we would definitely come back because we felt very comfortable in the house! Good distance to beaches, a nice coastal walk & also Leknes :)

Beautiful stay, ideally located in the middle of nature, facing the sea. The view from the living room is fabulous. Very central for visiting the Lofoten.

A dream place to live forever

12/10 stay Perla is simply a wonderful house, we immediately felt at home. It really has a soul. You will find everything you need for a perfect stay as a large group in Lofoten. The cosy, warm and detailed atmosphere of the house is second to none. It was the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in and I can definitely recommend it. Hege and Johan are wonderful hosts, very friendly and accommodating. We would have loved to stay longer, maybe another time.

Very relaxing, soothing accommodation. Beautiful decor! If you want to discover Skrova, the accommodation is ideal. Be careful though, there are only a few ferries a day to reach Svolvær

We can 100% recommend this! The house is very cozy and welcoming and had everything we needed. The view from the windows is super pretty and we managed to see northern lights few times just above the house. The location is good for day trips around Lofoten. Thank you 😊

Great place to stay while visiting the Lofoten area. Short walk to city center of Svolvær, trails, and the bus line. Very clean & comfortable, and being able to wash some clothes was a nice perk after some travel days. Would definitely stay here again.

very nice little house, well located and with beautiful northern lights. pity that there is only one room. is therefore more suitable for a couple with 2 children.

Lovely place, feels very spacious and homey, has everything you need to be cozy and to make home cooked meals. Would recommend!

We felt right at home. The apartment was comfortably furnished and was invitingly warm when we arrived. The location is very quiet, right nearby there is a supermarket that has a lot of choice. Since we were traveling by car anyway, it was the perfect location for us. Everything you need was available. The kitchen was very well equipped for everyday needs.

Natalia was such a lovely host. She helped us with local jnfo before checkin, was there to greet us and show us around (which we would not have needed had she not been home, but helpful nonetheless), and had some basic foods in stock for our use.

Very clean and tidy apartment. It was very easy to find and Ole welcomed us when we arrived, showing us immediately the comforts of our apartment. Ole lives upstairs and is always available if needed. Thank you!

We have absolutely nothing to put our finger on. Everything was tip-top. Unfortunately, we didn't have the opportunity to say hello to Hilde. We'll have a good time next time. Definitely a place I would recommend and we would love to come back.

Very nice cabin just overlooking a nice bay in a quiet setting. Special care was given to nicely decorate the house, furniture were also nice and provided a harmonious look. Entering into the house gave an immediate homey impression. In addition Gunnarsen was always very responsive to our requests. Thank you for the nice stay

Congrats on the layout! We loved staying at this apartment. Very well located for visiting Les Lofoten, close to shops for shopping. Very clean accommodation, very well furnished, very well equipped, connected tv. Very stylishly furnished apartment with views of the harbor entrance and the arrival of the Hurtigrut ships. Public sauna right next door, best restaurant of northern Norway about a 20-minute walk.

We had a really restful stay at Peder's cabin. The cabin was very comfortable and well thought out. The place was idyllic and picturesque, almost out of a winter postcard. Sadly we never got to meet Peder during our stay there as he was away, but he remained communicative and was very friendly. His partner Anja went out of her way to make us feel at home and help us out, especially since we don't drive and it was inconvenient to get around with the weather. She was very warm and sweet!This is a great spot for those looking to unwind and reconnect with nature (and yourself!) for a little bit. There's also a friendly cat and cute birds around - always a bonus :)

We had a lovely time at Roger’s place, which was equipped with everything we needed for a 4 night stay. Roger was very communicative, and provided thorough check-in instructions. The rorbuer is cozy and comfortable and well furnished, right on the harbour at Ballstad with a beautiful view out the front windows. I would recommend it to visitors desiring the “traditional” Lofoten experience without the huge price tag! Ballstad is a small village about 15 minutes drive from Leknes, where you can do your shopping. There is a convenience store a few minutes drive from the cabin, and a few restaurants around. I will note that the cabin is quite small, and there is no room to store suitcases in the bedroom - we kept ours in the living area, which was not a problem for us. There is also an upstairs residence and you can hear the occupants moving around - again, not an issue for us, but might be for others. Thanks for having us, Roger - we didn’t want to leave!

The furnishing and amenities made the accomodation really comfortable. Really convenient as there is parking available at the accomodations. Host was responsive to our questions. Highly recommended for anyone vusing Henningsvær!!
