Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Vågan Municipality

Our group really enjoyed staying at Einar's and Carina's cozy home. We were also allowed to experience the Lofoten and Henningsvaer with sunshine and had a quite nice time up here. Thank you so much for having us :-)

Stein-Ove and Marita are the best possible hosts, as they do their ultimate best to make sure that their guests have a phenomenal experience, in their fabulous house, in the unique environment of Lofoten. What stands out the most, from my view, is that the guests get the real experience of real life in such remote area of the world. This was my and my wife's intention, totally fulfilled beyond expectations, and we will never forget what we saw and how we felt. The house is situated in a magnificent location, between splendid mountains and coastline, and still easily accessible via a road where there is very little traffic, which ensure total peace. We felt what it means to have a family life in Lofoten, basically the experience cannot be more authentic, truly. Needless to say, the house was spotlessly clean and had all facilities to feel at home, e.g. we could use the kitchen to have a peaceful dinner overlooking the ocean. In brief, if you want the real experience, do book this house!

We had an amazing time! The airbnb was a perfect base for us with a breathtaking view. Highly recommend getting a sleeping mask for people with light sensitivity in summer. Thank you, Lilian, it was a pleasure!

Elin's house was very cozy and very clean, I totally recommend it, Hans greeted us with these words "Welcome to paradise", and the truth is that it was, a very quiet and cozy place, the house has a dock and we had a Kayak to use, thanks to Hans for the fish he gave us, it was very tasty.

Lisbeth is a very friendly host who greeted us personally and introduced us to the apartment. We immediately felt comfortable and really welcome. The apartment is cozy and has a wonderful location right on the water. You can use the sauna once and then refresh yourself directly in the cold water of the fjord, if you like.

Was on a girls' trip in Svolvær with mountain hikes and fun. All four of us were very happy to stay in the cozy house on Svinøya. Well-equipped kitchen, clean, and very charming. We felt at home, and will remember it for the next girls' trip.🩷

The host is very responsive. The unit is easy to locate. The place is quite, with 1 car parking slot available. The floor is a bit sticky.

The accommodation was very clean, comfortable, and well located with the port and supermarkets within walking distance. We had the opportunity to park the car right next to the house, in the shelter. Natalia's instructions were clear and helpful. We recommend it!

What a great place to stay! Unlike many other listings on Airbnb, this apartment felt like a home and not a holiday rental. It’s very nicely decorated with among others beautiful plants, the bed has the greatest comfort you could think of, the kitchen has everything you need; pots and pans, plates, etc are all of high quality. Everything in this apartment feels premium. And on top of that, Hilde is a perfect host. She even passed by to ask if everything was ok and we had a nice chat. If I could give this apartment and Hilde more than five stars, I would be glad to do so. I highly recommend staying here!

Hanne & her family were really amazing hosts! This stay was the best we had in our entire Scandi trip, for what’s it worth, the beautiful location and having it as our little home base while exploring all of Lofoten was amazing. We also appreciate the chocolate treat they gave us & making our check-in seamless and smooth. We would 100% be back here next time for our visit to Lofoten!

A great stay at André’s apartment which was very clean and comfortable. The walk to the apartment is about 30 minutes from town but the scenery en route is lovely so it’s ok! Very quiet and nice neighbourhood. André was very accommodating and responsive too! Would recommend to anyone :)

The accommodation is very spacious and so clean. It is ideally located close to the centre and amenities, while being in a very quiet residential area. The services offered are of very good quality, but above all Trine is proactive, she contacts you very quickly and is very attentive to your needs. Congrats on the layout! We loved staying at this apartment. Very well located for visiting Les Lofoten, close to shops for shopping. Very clean accommodation, very well furnished, very well equipped, connected tv. This is a great place to stay. Spacious, well equipped and centrally located. It has everything you need for a year round visit, and is really handy for public transport, shops and the town centre. Kjersti is a wonderful host - kind, friendly and very helpful. I will definitely look to stay here again.

We had the pleasure of staying 8 days over Easter at Roger's apartment in Ballstad. We have traveled home incredibly happy and satisfied. The apartment is lovely and central with walking distance to everything from shopping to hiking routes to bus stop. Check-in was super easy and no problem. The apartment lived up to the photos. The bed and duvets were great. The bathroom had a great shower and was clean and tidy. The kitchen lacked nothing and the living room invited for coziness. Outside there was a table and bench we had lunch by and enjoyed the view. It was a great luxury that we didn't have to clean the head, just put the towels in the laundry basket. Thank you for that. All in all, we felt incredibly at home, and could have easily taken another week. We would recommend the place and Roger as a host to anyone who would like to visit Ballstad. Roger was a great host who helped us get home as no buses drove from Ballstad. 100% worth a visit and a place we want to come back to.

Practical and cosy stay in Henningsvær! Easy to find and self-check-in to. Compact yet well-designed apartment in a peaceful private area. The place was modern, sparkling clean, and had everything we needed for our short stay driving around in Lofoten (parking right outside, kitchen with dish washer and bathroom with laundry machine were especially appreciated). Would stay again and recommend to everyone. The host was also very kind, helpful and fast to respond when we booked at short notice. Thanks!

The space was perfect for a few days in Lofoten. Check-in was easy and flexible and everything was in excellent condition. The location of the accommodation is perfect to explore a lot of the Lofoten and still have a quiet retreat. Despite the fact that the apartment is in an annex to the residential building, you always have privacy and feel very comfortable. The view was unbeatable and delighted us every day. We would definitely visit again!
