Holiday houses in Uusimäki

A very nice and relaxed month was spent with the family in the cozy and spacious house. Excellent host + lovely place to stay = ☆☆☆☆☆

Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances au chalet de Heta et de Kimmo qui nous ont bien accueilli et bien expliqué le fonctionnement du cottage. Le cottage est facilement accessible en voiture. L’endroit est calme avec une superbe vue sur le lac. Concernant le cottage: -La pompe pour remplir les réserves d’eau avec l’eau du lac est pratique -La literie est propre et confortable -Les équipements de cuisine sont de bonne qualité -Les produits de base étaient présents (sel, poivre, épices, huile, vinaigre, café, lait…) -L’eau potable était fournie pour le séjour ainsi que les boissons dans le frigo, ce qui a été très appréciable à notre arrivée. -Nous avons bien profité des stand up paddle et de la barque. -Les enfants ont appris à pêcher pour la première fois et ils ont trop adoré. -Nous avons aussi bien profité du sauna. Merci à Heta et à Kimmo de nous avoir permis de vivre une vie traditionnelle finlandaise pendant ces quelques jours. Nous allons garder un souvenir inoubliable!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Antti's house. The location on a peninsula on the lake was spectacular - lake views on both sides of the house. The house itself was lovely - very clean, comfortable well equipped and tastefully decorated. Even better than the photos. We really appreciated all the outdoor games and played a lot of croquet and Frisbee golf - Antti even bought a football so the kids could play, they were thrilled. Antti was a fantastic host - so helpful and kind and gave us a tour when we arrived. The real stand out though was the lake. Majestic was the word my husband used to describe the view. So beautiful and we were watching it and in it every day swimming and on the paddleboards/ in the row boat. The sauna with lake views was great too. We hope to be back.

Asunto oli oikein viihtyisä ja hyvällä, rauhallisella sijainnilla. Yhteydenpito Mervin kanssa toimi erinomaisesti ja saimme selkeät ohjeet. Asunto oli hyvin varusteltu, olisimme viihtyneet pidempäänkin. Suosittelen lämpimästi!

Toinen kerta tässä kohteessa, toivottavasti ei vielä viimeinen. Aivan mielettömän ihana ja rauhallinen paikka. En ole ihan varma kuka nautti eniten, koirat vai me 🥰 Elina on täydellinen majoittaja, aina valmis auttamaan ja vastaa viesteihin todella nopeasti! Kiitos ihanista päivistä ❤️

Miejsce oferowane przez Virgila jest bardzo dobrze skomunikowane - 5 minut drogi od stacji kolejowej. Gospodarz zapewnia jasne instrukcje dostania się do mieszkania. Lokal jest duży, czysty, nowoczesny, bardzo przytulny - można poczuć się jak u siebie. Virgil wykorzystuje część mieszkania jako swoją pracownię, ale w żaden sposób nie przeszkadza to w pobycie. Do dyspozycji gości są dwa pokoje, łazienka z sauną oraz kuchnia - wszystkie pomieszczenia są w pełni wyposażone. W przypadku braku czegokolwiek - zgłoś się do Virgila, rozwiąże problem natychmiast 😊Gospodarz jest przyjazny, proaktywny, pomocny, szanuje Twoją prywatność, utrzymuje z Tobą stały kontakt, aby nie przeszkadzać podczas pobytu. Zawsze służy pomocą, jeśli masz jakiś problem - z pewnością pomoże 😊 Wspólne posiłki z Virgilem oraz wyjście na piwo - pełne ciekawych rozmów odnośnie Finlandii 😊 Bardzo polecam 😊 Kiitos Virgil - Asia i Michał 😊

Jouduimme yllättäen hakemaan majoitusta todella lyhyellä varoitusajalla. Panu vastasi nopeasti ja järjesti meille asunnon ennätysajassa, vain kahdessa tunnissa vaikka oli vappupäivä! Asunto oli upea ja siisti, lapset tykkäsivät porealtaasta ja katsoimme molempina iltoina koko perhe elokuvaa kotiteatterissa. Kiitos vielä kerran Panulle ykkösluokan kokemuksesta!

This was a dream find for us and exactly what we were looking for - an outdoorsy week in nature! The hot tub and sauna right by the lake made it extra special and we had some beautiful sunsets. It is very well equipped for children - our boys (5 and 7 years old) loved it, especially the big trampoline, and we spotted lots of wildlife, including moose! It’s a great location for day trips to the coast and national parks too. We hope to stay again! 😊
