Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Utila

We had a family room on the third floor with a great view of the ocean, and the dock where the pool was. There was a table and chairs to sit outside the room and relax if we wanted to. The room itself had plenty of room, but the surroundings and the people made it a wonderful stay. The front desk helped us with any excursions we needed and with renting a golf cart which I would recommend. Someone came in and cleaned up each day. The breakfast every morning was delicious. It was a really nice place to be.

Incredible and unique experience! Communications from Ozzie, Herman and Daphney were great. For a bit extra, Herman picked us up and dropped us off at the ferry dock in Utila in his dorry (small motor boat). He also included a trip the next day to Water Cay, which is important, as there are no beaches on Utila Cay. Herman and his family are among the friendliest people you'll ever meet! Lovely house, too! Important things to know: This house is not on Utila, but on Utila Cay, a 15 minute boat ride away. You'll need some way to get there—we used Herman's services. He can also bring you from La Ceiba, weather permitting, if you opt for that option. The house is likely the only lodging on the island, but the rest of the island is totally covered with houses. The islanders are lovely people and an interesting culture of their own, incredibly honest and friendly. The place is very safe. Utila Cay has several little stores, all just a short walk, and Herman has a restaurant.

My stay in Utila definitely far exceeded my expectations and that was largely due to Benjamin and his family's excellent attention. In relation to the cabin that really has everything you need, it is very comfortable and private in addition to having a perfect location if you are looking for privacy and proximity to attractive places. Benjamin, Karina and Astor were simply spectacular orienting us at all times and offering us extra services to make our stay even more enjoyable. Even though I just met them they made me and my wife feel like old friends. Use and this stay will be on my travel itinerary every year from now on, thank you so much!!

We loved staying at the Gardens! It was our first time in Utila and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. We loved the location, it was close enough to the main road but far enough so you couldn’t hear any noise. The hosts provided a well-thought-out guide for both the Airbnb and the island, which was incredibly helpful. They were also kind enough to take us to the ferry dock on our check out day. I’ll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

I recently stayed at Rubis Inn in Utila for the second time, and it was just as wonderful as I remembered. Alex made check-in seamless and stress-free, which got my stay off to the perfect start. Mr. and Mrs. Rubi are such gracious hosts, always available and ready to help if I needed anything on the property. The dock on site offers a beautiful view that’s perfect for relaxing and soaking in the island’s charm. If you’re looking for a welcoming, comfortable place to stay in Utila, Rubis Inn is an excellent choice!
