Monthly Rentals in Utica

Just a bit off the main roads but not far enough to be an issue. Very quiet and serene. As good as anywhere I’ve ever stayed. Snacks were appreciated. The house is perfect. The yard is beautiful.

Terrific property. We were definitely in town to tour the Battlefield but wanted to stay within walkable to downtown. We had several restaurants, quiet bars and coffee shops within walking distance of the house. There was a private garden and views of river from the front porch. One King bedroom and 2 full baths meant I didn’t even have to share a sink with my husband 😀. Each space was contemporary and comfy, with lots of touches that spoke to Vicksburg. We’d definitely stay here again.

I traveled to the Jackson Metro area for the Healthy Mississippi Conference in Flowood and stayed at this property hosted by McLaurin and Kendra. They were excellent hosts—providing clear instructions for check-in, access, and check-out, which made the experience seamless. When I arrived to the property, I was headed to the wrong unit and the host called to redirect me to the correct unit. The space was perfect for someone traveling solo. It was clean, stylishly decorated, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. As a professional, I especially appreciated the bar seating, which served as a great workspace for getting things done on my laptop during downtime. While the neighborhood wasn’t the most upscale, I didn’t encounter any issues and felt completely safe throughout my stay. It was quiet and peaceful—ideal for resting after a long day of conference sessions. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would absolutely consider staying here again on my next visit.

Earnestine and Leo were absolutely wonderful hosts. The space (we rented both the downstairs unit and the upstairs unit) was exactly what we needed to have a group living here comfortably for 2.5 months while we worked in Vicksburg. Earnestine and Leo live in the upstairs unit, which made them feel like friendly neighbors in addition to being good hosts. They were communicative, really responsive with any issues we had, and are just really nice people. We’ve passed on the airbnb listing so our colleagues in Vicksburg can recommend it to other visiting groups that need longer term housing.
