Nestled in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park, this recent addition to an (ex) 1800s pub is a cosy yet spacious self catering space. Opposite an old church with views across the valley it offers an an ideal getaway with walks in every direction and outdoor activities (canoeing, climbing, horse riding) further afield. The Garden House is a peaceful stone cottage set in the historic gardens of High Glanau Manor, the home of H. Avray Tipping (1855-1933) the Architectural Editor of Country Life Magazine from 1907. High Glanau Manor is an important Arts & Crafts house set in 12 acres of gardens designed in 1922. This cosy cottage is just yards from the town centre and enjoys uninterrupted views over the River Usk and it's famous bridge. It is an ideal base for a week's exploration of South Wales, or a long weekend away if visiting Usk or it's surroundings. The cottage has one standard size double bedroom as well as a smaller bedroom which is equipped with a "small" double bed. Recently refurbished throughout, this cottage is a perfect home away from home (and has an off-street parking space).

Beautiful , private accommodation in part of our home with stunning views. The main bedroom has a king-size bed and a queen sized bed in the second . The bathroom has both a bath & a shower. The cosy sitting room has a log burning stove and a door to the shared garden. We provide a loaf of home made bread and marmalade plus butter, home made marmalade & jam, milk, tea and coffee. The Hall Inn pub is just 200 yards away and a short drive to Usk and Raglan and the Brecon Beacons

Clearvewe is on top of a hill close to the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons with the market towns of Monmouth, Abergavenny and Chepstow all 20-30 minutes away. With spectacular views and walks from the doorstep you'll work up a good appetite for eating in the excellent nearby restaurants. You’ll love my place because of the comfy beds, the cosy log burner and the roll top baths. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids).
