Relaxing Cosy Ruru Tiny House in Pohara

OmerRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Angie is an amazing host. Other than we asked so many questions and favors, all she has been doing was being nice, calm and supportive. The tiny house isn't so tiny.. we were very surprised to see how big the house is versus tiny houses. You have a beautiful lake just in front of you, the house has all amenities you need for cooking or relaxing. There is no wifi - we kinda liked it, place to talk with your partner and have a great night with her. I have absolutely nothing negative to say. Would come again! We wish you the best, thank you!

The Old House ,Waitapu .

KatRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This house is just beautiful. It is in a brilliant location, just on the edge of town so you have everything very close by but the feeling your in the country. It is spacious & the garden is lovely. The bed was very comfortable & the internal decor gives it a very cosy, homely feel. Lovely place to stay.

Bay Cottage - Rototai

Glenda & RogerRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Bay Cottage is a lovely place to stay. Spacious with everything one needs for a few days. Christine was a friendly host who came over to meet us at the cottage which is removed from the house. This makes for a quiet and secluded stay where you can appreciate the bird song. While the location is rural ( in a citrus orchard) it was a short drive to Takaka and we were able to dine well there. An enjoyable stay.

The Beach Bach

NaomiRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Highlights - indoor fire, outdoor fire, stargazing, outdoor batch, no tv, location, sounds of nature, friendly cows, breakfast visitors (one duck and his pukeko mates). Lowlights - we only stayed one night! Will 100% be back!!

Fantastic spot to stay to start the Heaphy! Great equipped hut feel and warmed up with the fire on. Nice to know all the proceeds go to Kea conservation too. Thanks for a lovely stay!

The Birds Nest - Serene Hideaway

AngeniRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This is such a beautiful place and makes a great home base!! It’s only a few minutes outside Takaka, so it’s remote and peaceful but easy to get to town for supplies. The all wood cabin feel was so homey and it was nice to have a yard to walk barefoot in. Loved this stay!!

Wanderers Wagon

EleanorRating, 5 stars2 months ago
A beautiful spot stay in Pōhara! Georgia and Sam have done a gorgeous job to make Wanderer's Wagon feel extra special. It was a very rainy weekend during our time in Golden Bay, but the wagon was warm and dry and even the outdoor patio was well covered to sit outdoors. The outdoor bath was a lovely touch, and we felt so at home. Thank you so much for having us!
