Built in our garden, this hideaway serves as accommodation for our large family to use when visiting. It has a large open plan kitchen/lounge diner with a sofa bed, one double bedroom, an office area, bathroom and a utility room housing the laundry facilities. It has underfloor heating and is double glazed. There is a dedicated parking space on our drive and a deck to sit on, in good weather.

Ryecroft House is a former farmhouse that dates back to the Seventeenth Century. It is situated in Ryecroft, a hamlet of half a dozen or so houses, a little less than a mile above the centre of Holmfirth. There is plenty of off-road parking and a substantial garden for guests’ use. Guests’ accommodation is the top floor of the house. Access is through the main house, so we share a staircase and hallway, but the flat itself is fully independent with a lockable entrance.

Smithy Cottage is a purpose furnished self catering holiday let and offers excellent accommodation for 4-5 people. It is not a party or reunion venue. The location is an ideal base for walkers, cyclists and visitors to Holmfirth Picturedrome and the many nearby wedding locations. Regarding dogs, prior consent is required. The property and the location was absolutely amazing , me and my friends have made some amazing memories there. The property felt luxurious and there were soo many personalised gifts for us upon arrival which were much appreciated. the host was very responsive whenever we had any questions I would absolutely recommend to anyone who wants a country escape and I know I want to go back in the future.

The Chalet proved to be a lovely home from home for our 10-night stay. Dan and Jemma are super-friendly and helpful hosts. And the interior design is lovely. We particularly loved the polygraph / bar, record player, amp and record collections - and Jemma’s delicious homemade sourdough loaf! This was a perfect location from which to explore the many delights that Holmfirth has to offer. And yet it’s peaceful enough to enjoy listening to the birdsong / the rain (though there was only a little!). Thanks Dan and Jemma for a lovely stay!

Lovely little cottage right in the middle of Holmfirth. It's a stones throw from Cooper's Yard, a great food and beer hall, as well as dozens of other restaurants, cafes and bars, but far enough away from the main road you won't notice the noise. Just be prepared to stumble up the steep hill back to the cottage if you've had a few drinks down in the centre! Very easy to get out of Holmfirth either on walking routes or car (we did walks from the Coop down the road before checking in and also drove to the Peak District from the cottage, ~45m drive on a quietish day).

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cottage; fabulous location within easy walking distance of all local attractions. Well equipped and very cosy it exceeded expectations! Beds were so comfy too.
