The hen house is located in the middle of the beautiful Permagarten, below a former monastery, on the Katzenhof in Bachhaupten. Gabi and Guido live their dream of independence here and want to expand the farm sustainably and suitable for grandchildren. For example, the walls and ceiling of the hen house were made from the over 200-year-old plank boards of the main house. The "gray water" is used in the garden and the "separating toilet" works without drinking water flushing. Suitable for two persons, if desired also with extra bed, you can spend nice days here in a cosy apartment. There is also a garden with garden furniture, parasol etc. available. In the middle of a beautiful hiking area or rather by bike? A lake in 5 minutes, Lake Constance is only 20 minutes or the Alps about 40 minutes - all within easy reach!

The Adelindis thermal bath can be reached in Bad Buchau, 5 km away, and other thermal baths are within a radius of about 25 km. The summer house is not suitable for children under 4 years of age and not for people with disabilities, as the sleeping compartment can only be reached via the steep ladder.

Our house is idyllically located directly on the lake with a fantastic view of Switzerland on the Säntis and the Zeppelin city of "Friedrichshafen." For 8 years we have been successful and happy hosts, were allowed to welcome a lot of great people to us, who would also like to book our whole house. The apartment has been newly built in an old farmhouse (anno 1833). During construction, care was taken to use as many natural building materials as possible (wood, clay, hemp). The partitions were designed as half-timbered walls. The living room forms a room with the kitchen. The apartment is about 60 m² and is barrier-free.
