It's exactly as the photos show. It's a room with double bed and sofa bed, it has a small separate kitchen and great sized shower room. The surrounding area is beautiful. For People with dogs, there's 2 areas at front with grass but it's not secure or fenced in. Lovely wee place!

I booked this stay on behalf of my wife and friends as they were attending a wedding nearby. They couldn’t have been happier with the property. It was spotlessly clean and had everything they needed. Margaret provided some bread, jam, tea & coffee and milk which was a nice touch. They also loved the big map that people had pinned where they had come from. Margaret was a great host when it came to communication before and during the stay and was always prompt to reply to messages. She gave me lots of clear instructions to pass on. We would definitely recommend Margaret’s property to stay at if you were looking for some where in that area.

Amazing house, surrounding gardens and fantastic waterfall made our trip. Rita was very kind and helpful with information at all stages of booking. Location ideal for a chilled break. Loved the quirky house lots of nooks and areas to chill Especially loved the snug area, balconies and fab views all around the property. Lots of nice places within driving distance to walk, eat , visit Would definitely like to return for longer break.

If I could give more than five stars, I would. This place is absolutely amazing. The beds are super comfortable. The space is so cozy. The kitchen is lovely and totally ready for you. The location is a dream. There is a lovely garden and fire pit, and lots of nearby walks to enjoy. We live in Edinburgh and came as a group of friends just wanting a quiet weekend in nature to read and relax — could not have had a better place for it! And a massive shoutout to Susan, the host. Susan was super responsive and helpful — and extremely friendly and kind. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! x
