A vacation for the soul on an East Frisian farm

We live on a farm in a quiet secluded location in the middle of East Frisia with our cattle, horses, chickens, dogs and cats. Shopping and restaurants are 2 km away. And plenty of bike paths to worthwhile destinations - swimming lakes, open-air museums, climbing park.... We'll be happy to give you tips. For our guests there are two bedrooms to choose from - a single bed and a queen size bed. We are non-smokers and ask our guests to refrain from smoking inside the house.

There are beautiful beaches and the Wadden Sea as well as the ferry terminal of the East Frisian Islands. The fishing village of Greetsiel is approx. 17 km away. There are also beautiful bike routes to explore the beautiful area. Arrival/departure by train is no problem, the train station is about 1.3 km from the property

The attic apartment with its 30 sqm is the perfect size to spend a few nice days for two or alone. The apartment is absolutely quiet and rural, on the outskirts in a cul-de-sac. In the bedroom there is a bed with the size 160 cm x 200 cm. A highlight is the shower, which is directly integrated into the bedroom. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed. Emden, Aurich, Norddeich, Greetsiel... Everything is between approx. 10-20 minutes away by car.

The listed house was extensively renovated in 2020/21 with a lot of love. The tastefully furnished house has lost none of its charm and originality. Witnesses to its old age are the original parquet and plank floors in the living rooms and bedrooms and terrazzo floors in the kitchen. The house is very carefully furnished with beautiful softwood antiques. In sunshine, life takes place outside on the terrace in the enclosed garden.

Our apartment is located in Halbemond on the East Frisian North Sea coast ❌ Close to Norddeich, Nessmersiel or Dornumersiel! In just 10 minutes by car to Norddeich or 20 minutes to Greetsiel. Everything is very easy to reach by car. Emden is 25 kilometers away. Recreational facilities: The Oceanwave, seal breeding station, Waloseum and automobile & toy museum are located in Norddeich. The Tea Museum is in Norden.

The holiday home is centrally located in the climatic spa of Hage (Berumbur district) in beautiful East Frisia, an ideal starting point for bike rides, walks in the adjacent forest area, beach visits or day trips to the East Frisian islands. The approximately 60 m² attic apartment is located in a well-kept, listed townhouse in the city center of Aurich. The pedestrian zone as well as sports facilities with De Baalje or the harbor area are within walking distance. Close to shopping (food, drugstore). The proximity to the coast and the swimming lake Tannenhausen are perfect for day trips. The apartment was newly expanded and equipped in 2015/2016.

The ground-level apartment with terrace faces south with views of the spacious garden and surrounding fields. Historic ceiling beams were installed and the color scheme was done according to restorative findings from the front. The cosy alcove is the ideal place to relax and a wood-burning stove provides comfort.
