Unless otherwise noted, I'll be locally available should any emergencies arise. I'm also happy to share information regarding local sights and points of interest, as well as answer any questions you have regarding the space, or its artwork and furnishings. This apartment is just steps from The Westward restaurant and Seattle’s vibrant Stoneway culinary corridor. A 10-minute stroll along the Burke Gilman Trail takes you to Gas Works Park where you can enjoy full views of the city skyline. And just outside your door you have access to Lake Union for kayaking, paddle boarding, and more! *Please be aware that King County is requiring proof of vaccination or negative Covid-19 tests for entry to many outdoor and indoor events and establishments. Nestled on the north shore of Lake Union, in Wallingford, you’ll find the atelier within easy walking distance of Fremont—a lively neighborhood, bustling with noteworthy restaurants and nightlife. Explore Seattle’s local breweries and distilleries, or check out the Sunday market in Ballard. Outdoor explorers will enjoy easy access to kayaking, paddle boarding, and boat rentals at Agua Verde Paddle Club. The Burke-Gilman Trailhead begins across the street, for those who are interested in touring Seattle’s sights on two wheels. The trail makes it easy to explore the area safely by bicycle.

Rest a mug on the reclaimed wood coffee table and snuggle up on the comfy corner sofa in this prime city neighborhood, next to lively Capitol Hill. Here, crisp white decor, clean lines, and cool marble contrast with rustic bricks and hardwood floors. The apartment is in the brighter half of the lower level of our home, occupied by 2 adults and a 3 year-old toddler. Prior to booking, make sure that you are okay with occasional noise coming from the other side of the basement where our family room is located or upstairs in the main floor of the house. Our guests are able to access the entire unit, including private bedroom & bathroom, living room and use our driveway as free parking on premises, as long as they have a compact car that doesn't block the driveway of our neighbors. We are pretty flexible when it comes to guest interaction -- we communicate as little or as much as our guests like and feel comfortable. We respect guests from all cultural and religious background. We've invited guests for gatherings in our place in the past and they've all appreciated to socialize with us and our group of friends. The apartment is close to Montlake Blvd Market, and the University of Washington and the UW light rail station are just a short walk away. Some local cafes and restaurants, like Little Lago and Cafe Lago, are also within walking distance. There is free street parking in front of the house. Compact cars can park in the driveway in front of the apartment. UW light rail station is a 0.8 mile walk away via the Montlake play field park shortcut. The light rail brings you to downtown in 6 minutes (only 2 stations), the stadiums in 15 minutes (6 stops), and the SeaTac airport in 45 minutes (14 stations). If you are traveling on a budget, Uber/Lyft are great alternatives to get to close by neighborhoods like Capitol Hill, East Lake Union, Downtown, Bell Town, Queen Anne, or upscale University Village.
