Walk to Leafy Parks in Montlake - with A/C

Rest a mug on the reclaimed wood coffee table and snuggle up on the comfy corner sofa in this prime city neighborhood, next to lively Capitol Hill. Here, crisp white decor, clean lines, and cool marble contrast with rustic bricks and hardwood floors. The apartment is in the brighter half of the lower level of our home, occupied by 2 adults and a 3 year-old toddler. Prior to booking, make sure that you are okay with occasional noise coming from the other side of the basement where our family room is located or upstairs in the main floor of the house. Our guests are able to access the entire unit, including private bedroom & bathroom, living room and use our driveway as free parking on premises, as long as they have a compact car that doesn't block the driveway of our neighbors. We are pretty flexible when it comes to guest interaction -- we communicate as little or as much as our guests like and feel comfortable. We respect guests from all cultural and religious background. We've invited guests for gatherings in our place in the past and they've all appreciated to socialize with us and our group of friends. The apartment is close to Montlake Blvd Market, and the University of Washington and the UW light rail station are just a short walk away. Some local cafes and restaurants, like Little Lago and Cafe Lago, are also within walking distance. There is free street parking in front of the house. Compact cars can park in the driveway in front of the apartment. UW light rail station is a 0.8 mile walk away via the Montlake play field park shortcut. The light rail brings you to downtown in 6 minutes (only 2 stations), the stadiums in 15 minutes (6 stops), and the SeaTac airport in 45 minutes (14 stations). If you are traveling on a budget, Uber/Lyft are great alternatives to get to close by neighborhoods like Capitol Hill, East Lake Union, Downtown, Bell Town, Queen Anne, or upscale University Village.

Greet the day under a glorious rain shower in the mosaic- and tile-bedecked shower area. Back in the main living space, the many windows and vaulted ceilings ensure plenty of morning light. Privacy is also a given in this bright detached property. There are a lot of windows to bring in the light and sunshine. It is a spacious area with a modern look with all new construction and appliances. It is quiet with quick access to the main road. Extra twin air mattress and pack-n-play available upon request and for an additional $10 each. We are available via text or phone. Nestled in-between the Montlake cut and the Seattle Yacht Club, this studio is near many parks, including the Arboretum, Portage Bay, and Japanese Gardens. Many trails surround the neighborhood, with shops, cafes, and the university close too. Lime Bikes, Ride Share (Car2Go & ReachNow), local buses and the Light Rail are all available in the neighborhood. Uber/Lyft/Taxis are easily accessible.

The location was in a perfect location at the U-District! There was a convenience store right next door with Trader Joe's a few streets away, as well as restaurants nearby, so food was never a worry! The place was very clean as well, and I had a little situation happen at the studio, and Dani responded right away! She was a great host, and a great place to stay!

This is a 3 story townhouse very close to the Children's Hospital. The townhouse was extremely clean and had everything we needed for our stay. They even have both a Keurig and a regular coffee maker and provided pods and some snacks which was a nice touch. It was very hot during our stay and we used the air conditioning in the living room but unfortunately there is air conditioning in only one of the two bedrooms, but there are fans. There's a nice rooftop with a sectional and bbq but it was too hot to hang out up there. The host was extremely easy to work with and responds very quickly. I would not hesitate to book this townhouse!

Great place, great stay. Clean and comfortable. I loved the skylights in this room. Know that this is an older building, and there are several narrow flights of stairs to get up to the room. Not an issue for me, but if you’re traveling with lots of baggage or you need to avoid stairs, perhaps try one of the lower numbered rooms on lower floors instead. The location is about as close as you’re going to get to the Light Rail on Capitol Hill, makes getting in from airport back to downtown a breeze. I’d happily stay here again on my next visit!

We had a wonderful weekend stay with our toddler. Keegan’s place was super comfortable, quiet and stylish. Comfortable beds, nice linens, great shower, and everything we needed. Very quiet and peaceful with dedicated parking. Highly recommend for a cozy Seattle stay!
