We really enjoyed staying in João's apartment. Ample space with everything you need to spend a few days on holiday in Tróia.

perfect location! if you want to discover Lisbon it's the perfect spot. transportation is next door and Ubers are easy and regular. located on the 4th floor without elevator, plan suitable luggage but it's nice to have the view of the rooftops. however, it must be hot in summer

This was such a lovely place to stay. The Airbnb was beautiful, clean and had anything and everything we could possibly need. João was super friendly and quick to respond. He had many great recommendations as well! The neighborhood was safe, peaceful and had everything in walking distance! We would love to come back again someday and will definitely recommend to friends and family.

The apartment is located inn a great area - Alfama. The hike to get to the unit was tough especially when I went in the wrong direction from the train station, but Pedro was patiently waiting there for us. After our hike to get there, completing the 68 steps to the unit was a breeze. LOL The view is spectacular and saw cruise ships coming and going every day. The unit was clean, comfortable. I had issues with the TV but did not go to Lisbon to watch TV. I was connected to the Wi-FI but not the internet, which was fine as my phone did the work for me and I was not working online. Ann and Rita Have created a special space and were are grateful for the accommodations. They did a tasteful job with the decor. I would definitely recommend the unit to anyone. Great job. Really enjoyed the stay and loved the location! Of close proximity to the time our market and metro! Apartment was clean and beautiful. There is nice rooftop bar above! only thing is that laundry is expensive if you want to wash ur clothes

One of my favourite AirBnBs I've stayed in!! Joao was extremely responsive and helpful, the house is even better than depicted, everything was perfectly clean and brilliant for a big group. the bathrooms and bedrooms especially all felt clean and modern, and the pool was just lovely. great to have privacy yet be so close to the city center! I honsetly couldn't reccomend this place more 🙏 Thank you for a lovely stay!

A really nicely done space that was pleasant to stay. Quiet & relaxing. Great host! Even gave us Americans our extra needed coffee 😎. Able to cook there too. Nice small market next door. Several typical restaurants on the same block. Close drive to the beautiful Comporta beach area. At dusk, there are a lot of mosquitoes outside, so bring bug spay.

We had a fantastic stay at Sofia’s Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality. She took the time to personally meet us, brought us some fresh Pastéis de Belém and wine, which made our experience feel very special. Her instructions and recommendations were incredibly helpful, ensuring we felt comfortable and knew the best places to explore. Whether it was tips on local restaurants or guidance on how to navigate the area, her insights made our trip so much smoother. The space itself was cozy and well-equiped, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The appartement is on 3 floors, there is 1 bathroom on 1st floor to be used for bedroom on 3rd floor. The other bathroom is within the masterbed room. We truly appreciate the personal touch and care that Sofia puts into hosting, and we would highly recommend her place to anyone looking for a great experience. She also accomodated an earlier check-in as our flights arrived early morning.

We had a wonderful multi-generational family gathering at Lisa's house. The living room and pool area provided a comfortable gathering place enhanced by the beautiful landscaping and convenient location. Lisa was very helpful and accommodating and even sent photos of the baby crib and highchair in advance to reassure us that our 9 month old grandchild would be comfortable. She helped us plan our day trip to Lisbon, provided a chef, and a wonderful babysitter for our last night dinner out. She was super responsive and friendly and made the whole experience easy. The house is very tastefully furnished and the layout is well designed. Having the heated pool was a special treat. The manual for the house was such a helpful resource with links to recommended sites. We appreciated the effort taken to communicate all the information about the house and area in such an organized way. Thank you Lisa and Peter for a wonderful stay at your lovely Comporta home.

We have not often rented such a well-maintained, stylish and high-quality furnished and well-equipped house on AirBnB! The rooms are very comfortable and spacious and there is more than the necessary equipment available - beach towels, bathrobes, supplies for use in the kitchen, etc. The house is not quite as idyllic in a somewhat remote new development area (which we knew from the advertisement), but very practical for excursions to Lisbon or the sea. A car is definitely recommended. Thanks for the great stay, we felt very comfortable!

If you want a real local Sintra experience then this is your place. Charming house with a lot of character, charm and history. We were a group of 6 and cooked in for dinner 2 of the three nights. Very close to town center for walking. It’s a very hilly town so if you like walking it’s great for you. Maria could not have been nicer.

We spent a week at Daniel's house with 2 families and had a great time. The house and property are not only large, but also already furnished or laid out. The kitchen is well equipped and with heated pool, new foosball, yoga mats, the ping pong table and the barbecue there is plenty to do even without excursions. But given the beautiful, quiet nature (occasionally the dog barking a little annoying) in the immediate vicinity and the versatile beaches (in the west with waves, at Sesimbra quiet Caribbean, but cold:-)) it would be a pity to forego excursions. However, you need a rental car and shopping facilities are a little further away (until the small shop in the village that offers Essentials). We would definitely book the house again.

We had a great time in São Simão! The accommodation is very clean, well equipped and perfectly as advertised. The host is accurate, honest and very responsive, which made our arrival and stay very easy. Even if the accommodation is a little out of the way from Lisbon, it was no problem for us — on the contrary, we appreciated the calm of the surroundings. Our daughter loved enjoying the SPA, a real plus! This is a place where you immediately feel at ease. Again, thank you for this great experience!

Public transportation was easily accessible, with metro stops just a short walk away, making it easy to get around. Ana was great and so was her place!

The condo was better than expected, beautiful and pristine with all the necessary kitchen items. The bedding and towels smelled wonderful!

The space was great and worked for two adults and a toddler. We had a few luggage’s and a stroller to carry to the top floor which was a work out but we knew what we were getting ourselves into because Hanna is mentioned it in her details. This area was perfect for what we needed.

We had a great time. From the apartment, we could visit many beautiful places, and it is still very quiet and private. The village is only 4 minutes away by car and it is also very nice to eat something there and spend time on the beach. The hostess provided us with everything necessary and was not intrusive. We will be happy to come back!

The apartment is fantastic, like staying in a piece of history. Wilfried has taken great care with the renovations and has also kitted out the apartment with high quality bedding and toiletries. Kitchen is really well equipped and Wilfried provided a vast array of coffees and teas. The rooms and bathroom layout worked well for us, a family of five with three grown-up sons, so everyone had their own room and slept well. The location is perfect, very central and easy to walk to most attractions or use Uber for going slightly further out. Its in a busy location with a lovely atmosphere. We weren't troubled by any noise - the trams and bars also close relatively early anyway. Wilfried is great and pro-active communicator. Everything was clean and Eugenia was a delight to meet. Thank you, we would love to stay again.

Loved this place in the heart of Alfama. Walkable, easy to get to anywhere, including right by the Santa Apolina train station. Felt like a local with celebrating the feast of St. Anthony with the entire neighborhood. The place is very clean, with a great bathroom/shower! I would seriously stay here again!!!
