Great location across from the beach and within walking distance of everything you need. Apartment was spotless and exactly as described and presented in listing. Kitchen is very well equipped for those who want to prepare their own meals. Aida is a lovely host, very warm, welcoming and responsive. It was a pleasure, Aida. We really like the place for our month-long stay! The location of the property is its strong point, very close to the beach of Carcavelos, to restaurants, with nearby shops as well. The hosts are very polite, friendly and helpful. We recommend the site!

The place is awesome. The view is beautiful and the apartment felt bigger than on the photos. We felt really good and could watch the waves all day to time the surf with the good tide and less people. It was perfect to go walk around and eat some sushis , pizza or steak just around the place. I will go back again when I’m hitting Caparica

Well, first I start by talking about David's extreme friendliness, he was a super welcoming person, gave us great advice and was always ready to help us, very attentive and helpful, in relation to David's house, the house is very beautiful, it is super super welcoming, we felt very good and super comfortable, it has an incredibly beautiful view and is close to the beach, it was a wonderful stay, I would definitely repeat it! 🥰🥰

We had a lovely stay. The house spacious and has everything you need. Friendly helpful owners. Close to the beach. To go to Lisbon you need to take the train, but we enjoyed the sea view track.

Ralph is a very attentive and personable host who communicated well throughout our stay with great recommendations for the local area. The house itself is simple and was perfect for what we were looking for, no frills but good amenities and very well located. Praia das macas is a very beautiful place, we could have stayed much longer + will be back! If you are looking for a totally anonymous and self contained Airbnb experience then this probably isn’t for you as Ralph (host) is more present than we are typically used to with Airbnb - the check in is in person rather than keyless and so on. However, with the recommendations, provided maps and detail about the town it was a very welcome addition to have an English speaking host who actively wanted to provide a good experience. If you are considering this area - go! One of the best places we have ever visited as a couple and all of the locals were extremely friendly.

We had a great time at Paulo‘s house! The plants and trees outside, the little details inside the house and Paulo‘s hospitality make this place a great spot for everyone who is searching for a calm and soulful vacation.

Great stay. Bruno and Rita are welcoming and responsive hosts. Beach and sea visible from the house. Comfortable bedding. Beautiful well-equipped house, 5 minutes' walk to the beach. There are 6 of us and we recommend these hosts and this house.

Very quiet corner lot, amazing views, very clean spacious. Fortunately the ice cream place is not next door as many say, it is down the street, those comments almost scared me away. Do not hesitate, I would repeat!

The house was very clean, spacious and well divided with everything on the same floor. The area is very quiet, the house is well illuminated and the beds are comfortable. We had everything we needed and felt comfortable. Isabel is a great host, very responsive and ready to help. Her friendly nature made us feel at home.

We had a lovely stay. Joao is very friendly and welcoming. Everything is as advertised and it's a show every day to open the door of the house on the ocean. Surf lesson in front of the house, very good neighboring restaurant. I recommend her house.

When the power went out for a day all over the country, we found a bag full of food and candles in the evening. We were very pleased with this attention. The communication was very accommodating and friendly. We will be happy to come back. Thank you for the great days right at the beach.

Fabulous apartment which is very close to amazing restaurants and bars. V close to the beaches and the pool area is also a huge plus point

We had everything we needed:) Ricardo was very friendly and accommodating, after no one was at the property before and after us, we were also able to postpone the check-in/out to our liking! Everything was clean and the amenities were exactly as described. Value is great! The house is a little clairvoyant, but the neighbors usually only make noise during the day, at night with closed windows it is very quiet. We would come back:)

I highly recommend!!! For those looking for a quieter stay in order to relax at home is perfect, and you can still enjoy the beautiful balcony where a spectacular sun is picked up either in the morning or in the afternoon. It is very close to the village and I myself did one or two walks there without any problem (15 or 20 min), I advise you to go home bet on a bolt or uber (for the village it is easy because it is down eheheh), however if you have by car it is perfect. Elisette and Guilherme are spectacular people and are always ready to help, very patient and helpful so if you have any problems, they help a lot🙂🙂🙂

This was our second time staying in sesimbra, it's a beautiful town, beautiful. beach and lots of lovely local restaurants. we were delighted with the apartment, spacious bedrooms, and living area. The pool is super and the games room a great asset. Only small criticism is the kitchen would benefit from better/fresh cleaning products, the sponges were old/used sweeping brush wasn't great, and the hoover was low performing. We like to keep the house clean each day. Everything else about the apartment is super, lots of towels, big tv, great wifi. We would recommend!

we loved our stay at Tiago's property overall. there were minor hiccups (checking in was a little difficult, but luckily our Uber driver was able to translate and help, after that smooth sailing). The apartment has the most incredible view, breathtaking, stunning. it is walkable but not as fun with little kiddos, there is over 140 stairs going up and down to the beach. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed. There was a concern for dresser that fell over, luckily my child was mildly injured, and I do believe they will take care of it soon. we initially planned to stay for 9 months, but we didn't just love Tiago's property, we fell in love with Sesimbra and decided to stay long term (so we had to find a more permanent living arrangement). I have already recommended his property to family and friends and will stay here in the future. Muito obrigada Tiago

We spent 2 weeks in Jose’s apartment with our 10-month baby. Everything went well, the place was cozy, clean and safe. The real highlight was the marvelous ocean view from the spacious balcony. Jose was very helpful and gave good recommendations via messages. There was a calm and relaxing atmosphere in the apartment, with just the equipment needed for a little family. The apartment and the view are even better than they look in the photos. Overall Jose’s place and Sesimbra gave us an unforgettable holiday, and we miss it already.

Absolutely beautiful, newly renovated, spacious and bright apartment right on the beach of Praia da California. The apartment was immaculately clean and the kitchen is still brand new. The highlight of course is being right on the beach and waking up and falling asleep every day to the sound of the waves crashing on to the shore. The ocean views are impeccable! It also only takes about a 2minute walk down the stairs to get to the beach. I went there in October and the beach was pretty much empty, weather still pretty warm & even the ocean was warm enough to swim in every day. You can tell the apartment is looked after very well by its owner, David and is also great for a longer stay. You have all cooking utensils and a washing machine to really make your stay comfortable. Overall, an amazing place to stay and David is an absolute please to communicate with and you can tell he really cares for his guests and the apartment. I hope to be back soon! Highly recommended!
