Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Ulysses

My family of two adults and one 4 year old stayed at Teresa’s while visiting family for the holidays and it was a great place. It’s well and thoughtfully stocked, and was beautifully decorated for the holidays. The porch was very helpful for having Wegmans groceries delivered. It was plenty warm enough for us Californians in December, and Teresa responded right away when our jet lagged brains couldn’t find the toaster (it’s in the lazy Susan). Would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend it.

Great house and very convenient location. Great neighborhood for walking and access to downtown Geneva and HWS College. Our family of 7 had lots of space to spread out and the kitchen was well equipped for us to make our own meals. The beds were super comfortable along with the linens. We loved the nooks and crannies, places for alone time and gathering spaces for meals and fun. The decor was comfortable and practical. We had a great stay and will stay again.

Hidden gem! Located just a short drive outside of Ithaca, you’re never too far from the action, but it’s quiet and peaceful. I have a son attending Ithaca College, so I try to visit every now and again. Check in and check out instructions were very clear. Will definitely look to book this place again the next time I am in the area.

Barb was extremely helpful and her place was great. We really liked the location of her house and the neighborhood. The town is really close by and Barb had helped us with local recommendations. The house was nice and cozy and her backyard is beautiful with a little stream running just behind. Would recommend.

Loved our stay at Joan’s place. My two daughters and I were in town for my daughters 21st birthday, her place was close enough to some many places that we had an abundance of options to choose from. Her place is very peaceful ! The weather didn’t corporate for us but we still managed to get in a nice 10 minute walk to the Lake from her place. The house had everything we needed for a weekend stay , including games and cards which we did use ! She is very thoughtful and kind adding a few personal touches and she made checking in and out pleasant !! Her place was the perfect size for us and although we didn’t get a chance to use the yard , deck or fire pit it’s all definitely an added bonus! Would recommend and would stay again.

I had a wonderful 3-night stay at this cozy cabin. The location was perfect for a peaceful getaway, surrounded by nature. The cabin itself was clean, well-equipped, and had a charming rustic feel. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great spot close to Watkins Glen and area!

We had a great time hiking the area! The house was super cute! A lot of the house is brand new. One of the cleanest Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed at!! Lots of coffee & Tea, along with snacks included! Also supplied all the fire wood we could possibly need for a camp fire!! Our Golden retriever enjoyed laying in the sunshine watching the cows in the adjacent pasture! Would highly recommend this place!

This 100+ year-old farmhouse is full of charm, character, and thoughtful touches—plus all the modern comforts. It had everything our family of three needed for the perfect Easter getaway. Bird watchers and bookworms will be in heaven! Pro tip: arrive before dark—we didn’t, and the unfamiliar countryside gave us spooky vibes. But by morning, we were in love! Set on a peaceful stretch of woods, it’s only 15 minutes from Wegmans. Fresh flowers in every room, cozy couches, and the most beautifully decorated Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. It felt like a well-loved home, not just a rental. A bay window offers views of chipmunks, squirrels, turkeys, and if you're lucky, maybe even a fisher! Watching my son hunt for Easter eggs around the pond while we sipped coffee on the porch is a memory I’ll cherish forever. Thank you, Jason (and kudos to his wife, the decorator!) for creating such a magical stay. We were sad to leave and toyed with adding another day, or two...hope to return!

“An exceptional retreat with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials to actually cook, and the thoughtful design extends to the outdoor patio, where we enjoyed using the grill. The hosts were absolutely wonderful—attentive and welcoming—and the location is perfect, right in the heart of the entertainment district. I stayed here with my 13-year-old twins, and we found it to be incredibly quiet and peaceful. We’re truly grateful for such a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a high-end stay.

Our second time here and we look forward to returning. It is peaceful, cozy, has all comforts of home and is surrounded by great backyard with walking trails that are beautiful. We definitely recommend.

It was a perfect place to stay for our mother & daughter weekend exploring Watkins Glenn and surrounding area(waterfalls, hiking, wineries, breweries, lakes).Can easily walk into town to shops, restaurants and WG state park. Apartment is fully stocked with all needed for our stay. It is a super cozy, comfortable & clean. Host is very helpful & responsive. It was a perfect fall getaway. Hope to return in the future.

We felt very comfortable at Arnaud's place. The apartment was exactly as described. Everything I needed in the kitchen/bathroom/bedroom/living room was magically there, not to mention the fresh eggs. Both Arnaud and Dave were very responsive to all of my questions and friendly. We loved the hot tub as much as our puppy loved the beautiful and fully fenced in yard. My 7yo daughter loved scootering down street to an ice cream place, as well as to a park with a playground. I wished I had my bike on me since Finger Lakes Trail was just a short walk away. It was a great stay.

Ron's place was cute with an amazing location. There are so many nice touches to the house. The host left drinking water, treats, coffee related stuff and even candles. Everything you can think of is in the apartment. He also was a great communicator and always available to help. The bed is super comfy as well. I would recommend this place to all who are visiting the Watkins glen area ( maybe 2 friends or couples) and we will Be back.

Outstanding host with key features for an elegant and relaxing weekend with the partner. The coffee machine was stocked and ready. Lots of generous perfume and cologne for us to try from Heather. Awesome stay would come again !!

We enjoyed being able to come and go while taking in the historical and cultural offerings of Auburn. We’ll be back!

My Group and I had an absolute blast here. Host was available during the entire trip, and was super friendly!! We had a long drive so our arrival time was a little later than expected. Shelly really went the extra mile making sure the home was ready for our arrival. 10/10 Would recommend staying here. We will return!

Nancy’s cottage was perfect for our little family of 4. We enjoyed card games on the back porch, meals al fresco w a beautiful lake view, and of course roasting marshmallows in the fire pit at sunset. The cottage was intimate and cozy and we hope to return on a regular basis. Thank you Nancy for being inviting and more than accommodating.

What an enchanting little cabin! I'm so taken by the secluded location and scenery. It was such a a joy to turn into the forest and be welcomed by the sight of the cabin after my work assignment. Would absolutely stay again and recommend to friends + family!

What a great little cabin in the woods! Plenty of peace and privacy. The fireplace was an absolute treat at the end of a long day of hiking. Within driving distance of some really beautiful sites or a great place to just relax and enjoy some quiet time.

This is the perfect stay for hiking nearby state parks of New York and winery hopping on the wine trail! Amber’s cabin was clean, cozy, and a great location for everything we wanted to do. Although the cabin does have limited amenities, the bed was comfy to sleep in and the mini-fridge was a savior! We used the bonfire outside, which did have chairs provided, and it was so peaceful and homey. Both of us felt very safe and secluded in this cabin. The walk to the bathroom/shower is short and clean! Both Watkins Glen and Buttermilk State Parks are a 30 minute drive and Taughannock State Park is a 15 minute drive from this spot. There are TONS of wineries anywhere from 5-30 minutes away, which is perfect for hopping! Amber was a great host because she was responsive and provided us first timers to the finger lakes some recommendations that we tried and were not disappointed in! Overall, we highly recommend Amber and her cabin. If we ever go back, we would definitely stay here again! :)

Such a beautiful spot to relax and take in the Finger Lakes region! The home is gorgeous, amenities pristine and the personal touches such as s’more fixins and coffee were so appreciated. It is off the beaten path of the main wine trails and that is exactly what we were looking for! We got to explore a hike or a few wineries and then head back to the peace and quiet and enjoy our wine in the comfort of the home. Our kids loved exploring the trails on the property, the game room was such a perfect bonus and Naples has such good restaurants and wineries/breweries that we didn’t have to travel to more populated areas unless we wanted. Perfect for families as the streaming tv, game room and kids area on a different floor allowed for our kids to have a blast and us parents to watch a movie and read upstairs. Perfect setup. Such a recharging and beautiful trip! We hope to be back!

Close to the park, secluded, quiet, beautiful little cabin. 30 minutes from all the beautiful falls in the area. Wineries right up the road. Perfect location.
