Welcome to our cottage in Mönkebude – Mönke's Kate und Meer – on the Szczecin Lagoon of the Baltic Sea Our listed cottage by the sea is at your disposal for your relaxation. The cottage was built around 1850 as an extension for the former large barn house of a fishing family from Mönkebude and was used for living until around 1982. Today, our guests relax between the old half-timbered walls made of bricks, clay-plastered walls and under the beautiful thatched roof on about 80 square meters of living space.

The country house on the Achtwasser is a real luxury vacation home: The exclusive thatched half-timbered house in ecological clay construction with idyllic water views is located in the middle of the Usedom Nature Park. The interior shows attention to detail and is not only cozy, but also comfortable and practical. The house is ideal for groups of up to 12 people and families with children. On the property, there is also a large sauna for up to 8 people with great garden views.

Our small wooden house is right on the edge of the forest, so you can watch deer or other wildlife while having breakfast on the terrace. We live on the neighboring property. There is also a 2nd apartment. Our children's playground with trampoline and swing is right behind the house in the forest. Our 2 single kayaks, 1 double kayak, 1 rowboat and 2 standups are available to our guests in the boathouse at Wurlsee by arrangement. There is a wallbox for charging at the house.

We offer you a newly renovated and elegantly furnished 48 m² 2-room apartment in the attic. From the balcony you can enjoy the evening sun and have the best view of the old town of Ueckermünde and the boats of the marina. Towels, sheets and much more are included in the price. We look forward to seeing the first visitors soon!

From the living room you have a magnificent view over the lake and the Riether Werder. A wonderful place to end the day by the fireplace or in the sauna after an extended tour by rowboat or after a swim in the lake. The large garden is fenced, there is garden furniture and teak loungers, and for the little ones a sandbox and a swing.
