Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Tyne and Wear

Great stay for a family wedding at Tyne Bank Brewery. Lottie was very communicative and flexible with arrival and departure times which was appreciated when flight times were changed.

We were staying up there for my Sons wedding , then we stayed on a little over Christmas to see the children . The Ubers are amazing and I just downloaded the app ‘Uber eats ‘ as well and they can do a shop for you from the Coop ,Sainsbury’s and Tesco and more . Uber travel was very good and reasonable . Area of house is great for Newcastle , Durham or Bernard castle area . Rooms are a good size , beds comfortable. Walking for elderly parents was nice and they increased their fitness immensely , as the fresh air has helped them along with the trips to the countryside which is all around . Very Clean throughout . Comfy sofa and large chair. Great for a family . Garden is enclosed and very safe . Rachel has been a very kind host , and fast to respond to any querys , I would recommend the area and the home , the locals are friendly and there’s a Tesco express which has a bit of everything , in walking distance . Warm and welcoming, banister on stairs plenty of cupboards . A*

Perfect location for a 10 minute walk to the Riverside stadium and similar into town where there are plenty of food choices. Thr property had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. Gareth responded very quickly to queries and made some useful recommendations. Would definitely stay again.

I stayed here with my son (age 12) on holiday and it was the perfect location for us. We were on foot and it's an easy walk into the centre of Newcastle. The neighbourhood was quiet at night, and generally pleasant neighbourhood. If we had brought our car, I could see that we could have parked easily. Beds were extremely comfortable and the place was roomy and relaxing. There is a great kitchen and eating area, with modern appliances. There are two bathrooms and the upstairs one has a particularly nice shower! The living room was the perfect place to chill out in the evening. The hosts were highly responsive when I had questions. I would gladly stay they again. Thanks!

Lovely accommodation and great host. We very much appreciated the spacious house plus the animals on the farm and local wildlife. Caroline was was very welcoming and offered useful suggestions for things to do and ways to get about.

We were up visiting family for the weekend and stayed at Steve and Viv’s place. The house is lovely and is exactly as described. Bathroom had a lovely rainfall shower and toiletries were provided. Instructions were very clear and they communicated very well. As previously mentioned the 3rd bedroom has a small narrow bed, which I would say is only suitable for a child, we were a party of 4, so didn’t need it. It was in an area we already know and was perfect for our needs. It was very easy to travel into Newcastle itself via bus, which stopped opposite the property. I would recommend this property. the house is beautiful and is perfect for a getaway with dogs. not far from Newcastle and easy to access the fast roads for us heading back south. on arrival We found the house was a little tricky to find as postcode takes you further down road. so best contact Helen when arriving. lovely house!

The apartment was perfect in size and location for the things we wanted to see in and around South Shields. The coastline is beautiful, walk to Marsden Grotto along the coast took about 1 1/2 hrs with amazing birdlife (bus back) Foot ferry over to North Shields, bus and Metro ticket good, St Mary’s Lighthouse a must , check tide times. Tyne Mouth a special place with Priory and spectacular views .Roman Fort next to the Apartment a hidden gem and free. Sadly some of South Shields needs a Spruce up like so many places on our Coastline. Elaine is a lovely host.

Fabulous apartment in a fabulous location. Spacious and tastefully decorated. Lovely little garden with beautiful roses, overlooking the river. Lots of parking. Pub overlooking a marina only 5 mins walk away. Great pubs, bakeries and restaurants 5 mins drive away in the quirky and atmospheric Ouseburn area. the quayside a short walk. Jordan was very responsive. It was our son’s wedding and he kindly left a bottle of fizz. Highly recommend - 5 star all round. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic weekend stay in Newcastle! Christian was so friendly & accommodating for our stay, the apartment was stunning with everything we could possibly need. The bed was very comfortable and everything felt luxurious, including the robes & fancy coffee machine. Being walking distance from st James park and city centre shops & restaurants was so handy. It was perfect for our weekend as wedding guests and exploring the city, only a quick taxi from the Airport as we flew in from Bristol as well which was really convenient. I would definitely recommend staying here over a budget hotel as it had all the little extra home comforts, if I’m ever in Newcastle again I will be returning to this lovely apartment. Neat, clean and spacious apartment. Excellent provisions for children (would note there are split level stairs if your child is mobile) and felt very welcomed.

a truly beautiful apartment, immaculately clean, there can't be a better location right on the front facing the sea with amazing views, parking was easy at the side with the free permit included. super host, friendly and responsive, clear and easy access information. really spacious homely apartment with a nice well equipped dining kitchen, and a stunning lounge with bay window and the view! . the main bedroom also had a sea view. Tynemouth Front St is just a few mins away. Best air bnb weve stayed in Tynemouth. definitely recommended!..

we had a great stay couldn't ask for anything else communication 100% accommodation 100% was not disappointed we will be back very happy 😊
