Beachfront holiday rental in Tyne and Wear

The cottage is spacious with a lovely garden. Parking outside was safe and easy. It is well furnished and very comfortable, the main road nearby isn’t too busy and not noisy at all. There is a nearby Sainsbury’s local for essential shopping. The locality is beautiful with stunning beaches and bays. A short walk away, Tynemouth is a vibrant town with lots of great food and drink available. Also walkable is Cullercoats with a lovely bay and a good selection of food and drink outlets. Whitley Bay and St Mary’s lighthouse are well worth a visit as well. My recommendation would be leave the car and walk everywhere if you are able, we had a wonderful time 😊

A perfect little cottage in every way. Immaculately presented, with everything we needed and in a great location. We loved Tynemouth, and being one minute from the sea front takes some beating. We were blessed with beautiful weather, so didn’t go too far, but it’s so easy to get into Newcastle on the Metro, or explore Northumberland. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer.

had a perfect stay apartment was comfortable and everything was as said beds were very comfortable x was out a lot but we had a movie night with pizza was far better than a hotel stay if we return to whitley bay would definitely rebook and would certainly recommend to anyone booking x thanx for a perfect place to stay Pauline peter margaret and rab

Booked a little break at Linda's caravan on Airbnb. Kids absolutely loved the caravan. Linda was very responsive and helpful when needed. The weekend went far too quickly. Will 100% book again and would recommend to anyone.

Love this place, right by the beach, and a beautiful beach too. The host was so responsive and helpful from start to finish. The place was immaculately clean, just as described, lovely and warm with all the utensils and appliances working exactly as they should. Easy to walk to town, with a Co-Op and pubs and restaurants there. Shower pretty good too. Family bathroom and a small but useful en-suite to the main bedroom

We had a lovely break. The position of the caravan overlooking the sea is one of the best on the site and it had everything we needed. We’d very happily go back for another stay.

Absolutely gorgeous caravan . The lock box for the key isn't the easiest place to access if you have trouble bending or if the ground is wet This caravan is beautiful, fantastic location, parking space and its at the quieter end of the park. Myself, Mum and 5 year old son just stayed for 3 nights and had a lovely break! David is a responsive and thoughtful host, replying quickly, arranging for the heating to be on for arrival and even leaving lovely treats for us to enjoy! The place is absolutely spotless, super clean and well organised, it has everything you'd need for a short stay. Would definitely recommend! We ventured to Cresswell Beach and White House Farm in Morpeth which is a must if you have little ones. Lovely memories made... as well as some sand castles!

Second stay at this beautiful caravan that once again did not disappoint. Lovely, comfortable, homely caravan in the most peaceful spot on a great site. We can not get enough of the amazing views of the sea, right outside the caravan. Sitting out on the balcony is one of our most favourite things to do here, with also the quick walk to the beach to paddle in the sea and make sandcastles with the children. Our children absolutely loved staying here again withe plenty to do on the site and wonderful surrounding places to visit. Lots of lovely personal touches in the caravan that make it feel very welcoming. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Fab little stay in a lovely little caravan, kids and dogs had a blast. Caravan is a bit run down as described but still clean and we had a lovely time. Everything was so easy and we even got a late check out which we really appreciated. Thanks Malcolm

Beautiful uninterrupted view across the estuary to the sea and a great beach just a walk through the dunes away The lodge is at the end of a cul de sac with grassy area where kids can play The lodge is spacious and comfortable This was our second visit Once again there was a generous welcome pack but no condiments in the kitchen and I’m glad I took a cafetière A favourite place for us

Very cosy home. Plenty of room, very comfortable sofas and bed. Lovely touch of fresh bread, croissants, milk and fruit. Instructions for TV etc were very clear and recommendations of where to eat were very helpful. The house was very near the beach area and also the Metro to Newcastle. We would definitely recommend this home for anyone visiting the area.

Nice cosy place with sight and sounds of the sea. Off road parking onsite, means you can forget the car and enjoy walks on the beach and the many coffee shops in Cullercoats and Tynemouth.

This was our second stay and we have had a peaceful time. The apartment is across the road from the beach. although at the moment hidden by roadworks which don't appear to be moving anytime soon. half hour walk into Tynemouth with lots of places to eat. loved it. hope to be back next year

Wonderfull Studio apartment in a beautiful area of Tynemouth. Beach is just down the road (you can see the water from the window in room). There is a lovely field across the road and plenty of local businesses within walking distance. The hosts were a friendly couple. I’ll definitely consider staying here again! :)

This was our second stay here, so we obviously like it! The location is perfect next to the beach and having a parking space is great. The back garden is a suntrap too for relaxing in. We would well recommend Grannie Annie's, down on the beach for food. We had everything we needed in the apartment and will probably be back again next year too. Thanks for another great stay 😁

We had a lovely stay here. The location is perfect for beautiful views of the sea and lighthouse. Close to shops and restaurants but still peaceful. Great parking facilities in a busy area. We would stay again.
