Holiday rentals with beach access in Tyne and Wear

I cannot recommend this space or the hosts enough! It is such a peaceful, clean, welcoming, lovely place—and so close to the water! I loved my time at Elaine's place. The cleanliness is exceptional, so to was the host's friendliness! Elaine was beyond responsive and just incredibly kind. The space is very comfortable, has everything you need in the kitchen, INCLUDING goodies from Elaine. The bedroom has plenty of space for your things, black out curtains, and the living and bath areas sparkle with care. Highly recommend this air bnb.

Lovely flat in great situation. Excellent communication from Lisa. We were visiting family nearby and will definitely be back and stay here again. Very close to amazing beaches. Quiet location and Lisa had thought of everything we needed

We stayed here for a couple of weeks whilst working in the area. Parking is on the quiet street, and we always managed to park very close to the house. The house is as described, comfortable and has all the amenities required. Will stay again when working in the area.

Allaoua was very nice and easy to contact and would respond promptly to any questions we had. He went over everything when we got there and it was great for our family of 8. We even hosted a family of 5 for dinner one night and there was plenty of space for all 13 of us! Highly recommend! Lots of nearby restaurants/grocery store/beach!

We stayed 3 nights in Karens apartment. The apartment is nice (perfect for 2 couples). The location is very nice, close to the beach, an easy walk into Sunderland centre, easy access from the Metro and a bus stop close by. Many pubs and restaurants in the area. We would like to comeback back to this apartment.

My partner, young kids and I had the most wonderful Easter break at Vikki's place. We really appreciated the super calm and understated luxury vibe to the home and all the attention to detail that had gone into creating such a welcoming and well-thought out space. The cottage is TARDIS like with the traditional frontage giving no clue to all the airy space and mod cons inside. The location was also very special: a stone's-throw from the beaches. attractions and shop for essential in a lovely car-free street but with parking very close by. Check-in and check out were streamlined and Vikki was such a kind and thoughtful host leaving us basics in the fridge together with some local sweet treats; very welcome after a very long drive up. She was also really accommodating in allowing us a later check-out. Thank you so much Vikki for sharing your amazing home with us and we hope to get the chance to enjoy it again next time we are up!

Very cosy home. Plenty of room, very comfortable sofas and bed. Lovely touch of fresh bread, croissants, milk and fruit. Instructions for TV etc were very clear and recommendations of where to eat were very helpful. The house was very near the beach area and also the Metro to Newcastle. We would definitely recommend this home for anyone visiting the area.

We had an amazing stay in Whitley Bay! The house is absolutely lovely and had everything we needed. A nice short stroll to the seafront takes about 15 minutes. We went for breakfast at The Beach House which was great, definitely recommend! Newcastle city centre is only a short 20 minute drive. Thank you John and Joanne 🥰

Had a wonderful stay at Joan’s. It really did feel like a home from home. It was spotless and had everything we needed. Loved the garden. For arriving on the fridge there was milk and a good supply of tea, coffee and chocolate biscuits. It was ideally situated for visiting our family near by and visiting Beamish. We wouldn’t hesitate in coming back .

The annexe is beautifully furnished and tastefully decorated. It was really warm and cosy, on what was quite a cold couple of days. Colin gave us a very friendly and informative welcome. We enjoyed our visit to Fish Quay on his suggestion and the short walk along the coast to Tynemouth. Highly recommend this property.

This place is amazing. where to start really! Ian is a great host and very accommodating, kept in touch really well and the advert is really accurate. 3 huge bedrooms . 2 with double bed 1 with 2 x single beds but the single beds are a good size and were slept on by 2 x tall 17 year old.lads. fully equipped kitchen stocked with tea. coffee,,milk , biscuits,juice there's even pasta in the cupboards and more. the lounge is a great size with a nice TV, pretty sure sky glass was set up as well 2 x lovely sized bathrooms , really clean and just an absolute brilliant place. we were fortunate to get a space bang outside which is right opposite the metro station, nice little pub called the ticket office inside the metro station, hosts also lovely.. all in all, we drove over 250 mile .to get there and it was a very welcome place to sleep for the night.. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and Ian is the perfect host if your looking to stay in this area this is

Great place to stay, house is lovely esp with the additional luxury spa amenities. Massage chair is amazing. Wish we had stayed longer. Welcome pack was also great. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay. Lovely accommodation, nicely decorated. Was within walking distance to sea front. Host was excellent, gave us lots of information about local facilities. Kitchen well kitted out to make a family meal. Would definitely stay again.

What a lovely flat great size for our family of four, nice and clean comfy beds nice living area and kitchen with everything you’ll need. The views from the living room looking onto the seafront are stunning with a very nice beach. Plenty of nice places to eat and drink out. Like a dummy I left my coat behind which Ivan as kindly said he’ll post on. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for a great stay Ivan.

A lovely little flat, full of character. The clear instructions and photos made it easy to get in. We felt right at home and slept very well in the very comfortable bed. Thank you for having us Deb.

Great location overlooking the beach, really nice kitchen / living space which makes the most of the fantastic view. We caught the train, apartment is an easy 15 minute walk from the metro station - walk the last bit through Roker Park, it's very pleasant.

You will not get a better place to stay! This place has it all- I didn’t want to leave as it’s so special. We only live about 4 miles away but will definitely book as we loved seaburn and roker. I have so many ideas for my home - inspired from this apartment Truly stunning 😍
