As they you can't tell a book by its cover. The cabins were built in 1937 and are in the process being painted and other improvements. But once you step inside you will be amazed at the detail of the interior. There are so many unique things that it makes staying there and experience. It is not your plain hotel room but an adventure. If you a person looking for something different this is the place to stay. Geralyne is wonderful host

What a unique and cute studio suite -- perfect homebase for adventures around the Methow Valley. The location is very cool; you can sometime hear noise from the restaurant/bar downstairs but I found that it was not disturbing and added to the cozy ambience in the loft. I loved it -- thank you!

We had an absolutely wonderful month at the Cowboy Cabin, and feel so lucky to have found this gem. The house is clean, well-appointed, private, and has absolutely spectacular views. It feels incredibly remote, but is less than a 10-minute drive to Winthrop, which is handy for groceries, restaurants, and other amenities. Robyn was friendly, helpful, and responsive. We can’t wait to go back! The only thing to note — which Robyn made very clear — is that you’ll want a 4WD vehicle for the driveway. Our Subaru Forester did great, but the road wouldn’t have been navigable in a small sedan. All in all, we rate the Cowboy Cabin 10/10. We’re hoping to book a month there again next winter!

We live about 1.5 hours away but wanted to host my best friend and her family closer to the touristing we were going to be doing - Winthrop, Twisp, Leavenworth. My bff has bad allergies (we have cats) and she was super relaxed, comfortable, and at-ease with the eco-friendly accommodations; we were super relaxed, comfortable, and at-ease with the clean, modern, airiness. The location was easy to find even though our GPS took us to the "A" unit. The community is quiet and with all of Spring blooming, we were surrounded by beauty. The posting is true to advertised - located minutes from downtown Winthrop, spacious living and dining area (our 6 yo enjoyed taking her online classes on the high stools and kitchen counter), eco-friendly, super comfortable linens, laundry room w/ eco-friendly detergent, games, etc. We WILL be back...but maybe I don't want to post this because I don't want all the dates taken!
