Cabin in Húsavík, Sandoy

Almost 200 year old listed stone house in the historic village of Húsavík on Sandoy. You live close to nature in an old traditional Faroese stone house with grass on the roof, walls of wood and wooden and stone floors. The house is in a wing, where you go through the 'smoke room' (where the sleeping area is) into the living room (glass room). In the smoke living room there is high ceilings, while in the living room there is lower, overlooking the sea. Bathroom of older date, and a small kitchen with new elements and dishwasher.

Luxury cottage in amazing surroundings.

Luxury cottage from 2022 in beautiful surroundings with stunning views, located in a secluded place with incredibly rich wildlife. You can meet hares just outside the house, and birds build nests around the grasslands. There are 12 beds in the house, plus 2 travel beds for small children, but plenty of room for extra mattresses on the floor. From July 2023, it is possible to rent access to the Jacuzzi for 6 people for an additional fee. DKK 1,000 for 1 day, the following days it costs DKK 500 per day.

Charming house with sea view

Here you can safely sit back and relax in our unique and quiet summerhouse. The house was built in 1920, but has just been newly renovated. Enjoy the great ocean views from almost every window. The location is central. The local grocery store is 250 meters from the house, and 30 meters from the house is the quay where it is possible to fish. There are 4 rooms, 2 larger and 2 smaller. In addition, there are 7 sleeping places. Only 10 min drive to football hall, swimming pool, cafes and restaurants.

Bay Cottage

A quiet place by a quiet bay at the countryside. There is no public transport. The road to our place is a narrow road up the hill towards the mountain Beinisvør. By the town Lopra (before the tunnel to Sumba) you turn right. "Um Hestin". Before the top of the hill, turn left: Víkabyrgi. Our house is the last one on your left side. The Harbour-master´s house in Tvøroyri on Suðuroy.

This cosy traditional faroese house from 1930 is located central in the town and in walking distance to café shops and supermarkets. The bus drives directly from the ferry to the house, so it´s not necessary to bring a car to come to the house. This house is perfect, if you like to experience the island of Suðuroy or just to relax in Tvøroyri. Suðuroy is the southern island of the Faroe Islands and has a lot of beautiful places, where you can hike. The host is ready to help you with advices.

Hilmarsstow

It is possible to drive all the way to Hilmarsstova, locaded 90 meters over all other buildings with the most wonderful views of the surrounding area. "Petursborg" luxury in Vágur

Luxury Villa Peter Dahl built "Petursborg" (Peter's Castle) in 1907 when he was the mayor of Vágur. Peter was a visionary man with a pioneer spirit. Among many projects he established the local bank, built the road through the village and was also deeply involved in the first hydro electric plant in the Faroe Island, located in Vágur. The entire house was renovated from 2022 to 2024 and is today a beautiful old style house with a modern touch.

Traditional older Faroese house (cozy atmosphere) in beautiful surroundings with good views of the fjord. 10 m to the boat bridge where you can fish, access to canoe and rowboat (at your own risk) 5 min. walk from supermarket. 15 min. walk from Tvøroyri. 10 min. walk to river with good opportunities for trout/salmon fishing, etc. Fishing equipment is available for free use. Close to hiking trails. (Here "visit Suðuroy" can be helpful)

Suduroy, luxury and cozy house with sea view

My traditional Faroese house is located on the southern island, Sudoroy, surrounded by breathtaking nature with public transportation right by the door. The 2 hour ferry trip to the island, return ticket about 11 euro and 37 euro with car, is beautiful. Newly renovated house decorated stylish and simple with danish designs. Beautiful sea and mountains view from all rooms.

Peaceful boathouse with a view

We renovated this old boathouse recently. There is a rowingboat available as well. It is the family’s boat. The house offers you a peacefull sanctuary to collect your thoughts. 5 minutes walking distance to groceryshopping. Bus stop to the rest of the island is oposite the house as well. There is a bed for two people and a couch that also can fit two people

Family house near the sea in Suduroy/Faroe Island

Our house is in Vágur, Suðuroy. It is spacious and has four bedrooms. Petrol station, Magn, is in walking distance. We are the closest neighbours to Pálshøll, aquatic center. The location is perfect for exploring Suðuroy, and Vágur has dining and shopping oppourtunities. We personally love walking around the lake west from the village.
