Cosy Log Cabin in Aith, Shetland

Relax and recharge with the family in the peaceful and picturesque village of Aith. This is our family holiday home, close to our family in the quiet and friendly village of Aith, Shetland. It is a great location as the village has a shop, Leisure Centre, Harbour and Marina, play park and is a 5 minute walk to the fantastic ‘Michael’s Wood’. This award winning woodland and trail was planted by family in memory of our cousin and so is a really special place for us which we hope you will enjoy.

The Waddle is a traditional Shetland croft house, refurbished to offer a homely and comfortable stay for guests. Situated in a peaceful, quiet, remote location just over a mile from the nearby village of Walls, tucked in under the hill overlooking a sea-loch, it's a perfect place to enjoy Shetlands wildlife, scenery, peace and freedom. The Waddle is situated on an active croft. We have approximately 250 sheep with lambing in the spring, silage baling in the summer and feeding in the winter.

Comfortable two bedroom cottage, situated in the centre of Lerwick. The cottage has recently been refurbished, and is decorated with a modern feel. Located on King Harald Street, the cottage is within walking distance of Lerwick town centre, near various cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops. Please be aware that there are two sets of steps to get up to the cottage (27 in total), so it may not be suitable for people with mobility issues, or prams/buggies.

A very central and fully refurbished apartment on the first floor, built in 1871 and tastefully modernised but still keeping its cosy atmosphere. Situated in the old part of Lerwick close to all town centre amenities, 300m to pubs, shops, restaurants etc. Private off road parking and secluded entrance. There is a shared garden that guests are welcome to use. Fully equipped with everything you need including wifi and Netflix for chill time.

Spacious, ground floor flat with level access

My 2 bedroom ground floor flat is situated in centre of Lerwick overlooking King George V children’s play park and beautiful flower park. There are open views up to Lerwick Town Hall and County Buildings. It is close to all amenities and an ideal base from which to explore Shetland. My flat is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with children). Level access from the rear. Overnight private parking.

‘Braelea’ cozy country out building with mezzanine

Reclaimed ‘oot hoose’ located in Burra- a small fishing village on the west side, only 15 min drive from Lerwick. Burra is a lovely part of Shetland, & home to some of its most beautiful beaches and coastal views. The shop is a 2 minute walk away, where you can book a tour with ‘Shetland Sea Adventures’ fishing trips & tours of the outer islands. Air b&b is next to a bus stop with connecting services to Lerwick & other parts.

The self-contained flat is situated at the North end of the main property, above the garage so please be aware that there is a staircase for easy access as it has its own entrance and hallway. You will have access to our own waterfront & jetty so if you have a kayak or small boat you're welcome to use the facility, the garage can be used for the drying area.
