The area was beautiful, I enjoyed long walks up the mountain every morning. The host was always available and very accommodating. The gardens were a wonderfully peaceful respite. It was like taking a vacation while on vacation. The room was great, as described, and even had a dehumidifier available. The property is away from the city (we were able to Uber in and out of the city without too much issue - just a delay in finding a driver one night. We loved exploring and having our morning coffee in the gardens. We didn’t meet Phil, and we weren’t able to get a gate opener for our stay, but it worked out OK with two of us (one to drive the car and the other to get out and operate the gate).

Great 🟢 accommodation for when attending events at Hacienda Sitio Mata, it can even be reached on foot. 🟢Pretty quiet and safe place. 🟢 Amenities are as described. 🟢 Marlon is very attentive to needs. 🟡 The parking lot is on the edge of the street (Parqueo 1) but it has a space to store the cars less than 40mts safer (Parqueo 2) a little steep but more hidden, in the same way, the area is very quiet. Highly recommended.

Spotless, comfortable cabin on a citrus orchard. The restaurant on the property has amazing food and excellent service. I’d stay here again.

Communication with the host was excellent. Very helpful and responsive. The cabin was great. Kitchen well stocked. Bed was comfortable and the view was beautiful. Note that the 5:30 am morning sun comes in and the animals get up that early. If you want to sleep in, bring eye covers and ear plugs. We had a lovely breakfast on the porch looking at the volcano. Overall, it was a good stay.

We stayed because we had an activity at the Guayabo National Monument. The location was ideal because we were 20 minutes away. The stay is worth it and offers a beautiful view for breakfast outdoors. If we had stayed longer, we would have liked to paint a stone, because the option was there.

the place is really special - it is the people that make the place like that. we had a great time, even before arriving communication with Deiby was great, very fast and helpful. we could checkin earlier than 3 which was very helpful. we were a bit surprised that we had rented the entire house consisting of 6(?) bedroom and 3 bathrooms.. of course the three of us used definitely less. the road next to the house did not really disturb us, simply because waking up at around 5.30 with the first light became our regular time. the dogs are very sweet and accompanied us wherever we went. the pool is just beautiful as well as the garden. Dona Anna prepared a beautiful meal on our last evening and we had great talks (in Spanish). the kitchen in the house is quite basic but was enough for us, we enjoyed the blender to prepare fruit shakes. all in all it was a great and in my eyes a very authentic experience to stay.

A beautiful area, full of peace and with a delicious climate. Everything nice, clean and organized in the cabin. We slept deliciously and the blankets were perfect for that rich mountain cold, Jefferson was super friendly and attentive. We are grateful.

Our stay at the cabin was simply spectacular. Everything exceeded our expectations: the cleanliness, the details, the comfort... we have absolutely nothing negative to say. The cabin and the entire property are beautiful, you can breathe tranquility and you can see the care in every corner. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Definitely a place we'd like to go back to.

The place is beautiful, private and relaxing. The ease of bringing your pets is a plus. The host is very attentive and kind. The pool is very enjoyable because of the hot weather. Any car can enter, but most of the street is unpaved and you have to go slowly, so take that into account. Otherwise, it's a beautiful place! Highly recommended!

The cabin is very nice and has everything you need. The information provided was very useful, the cabin manager was extremely kind, helpful and proactive. We were all the family therefore I was both children and older adults and dogs, and we had no problem, the place is the same as the photographs and we hope to return soon! We really appreciate the service and the place.

If you wanna experience some time in a beautiful little cabin in the middle of farm country on the side of a beautiful volcano, this is a place for you. The surroundings are spectacular. The cabin has everything you need and more. We loved it and we will be back.
