Artist studio, great wifi, in country village

Large beamed studio in working family village with north light, fixtures & fittings which are recycled, art and stuff from my time in galleries and museums. Comfy retreat behind my Tudor cottage. My garden is an acre with a private drive, you get the bit with less neighbours but more farm. Private space in the garden, cotton bedding. It’s shabby but well equipped. It’s cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Not for those who would be disturbed by deer, fox, chickens (rooster) and a horse.

Crane Lodge-Secluded 1 bedroom stay near the coast

Crane Lodge is in a private garden set back from the main house in a secluded wooded area 5 minutes from Orford. This is a perfect peaceful retreat for those looking for a getaway amongst nature on the Suffolk Heritage Coast - a perfect base to explore nearby Snape, Aldeburgh and Southwold. Recently renovated with mezzanine living, guests have the entire Lodge to themselves with a private entrance, terraced area for outside dining/bbq and off road parking. We also welcome up to two dogs.

Kiln House, Snape Maltings

Kiln House is a quality holiday home at Snape Maltings, home of the Aldeburgh Festival, with shops, galleries. cafes, excellent pub, and plenty of free parking. The colourful seaside town of Aldeburgh is just 15 minutes drive. Interiors are spacious and sociable with the ground floor wrapping round from the living room to the dining room, kitchen and office. Three modern bath/shower rooms for the three bedrooms give added privacy for all guests, with beds being king, double and single.

Snug studio in the idyllic Alde Valley, Suffolk

The Snug is beautifully converted studio, attached to the farmhouse but totally self-contained. Situated in the rural idyll of the Alde River valley in coastal Suffolk, it is handily located for the RSPB nature reserve at Minsmere and the coastal attractions of Aldeburgh and Southwold, the concerts at Snape Maltings, and Framlingham castle. Located on a small family farm of 40 acres, there are plenty of dog walking opportunities on local footpaths, surrounded by horses, cattle and ducks.

A cosy, perfectly formed space in the centre of Orford, The Studio is ideally placed to enjoy this gorgeous Suffolk village. A short step to fabulous walks, Pump Street Bakery, 2 pubs, 2 restaurants, a tea room, Village Shop, Butcher & Pinneys Smokery, as well as a short drive to Snape, Aldeburgh, Woodbridge... you won't want for diversions, unless you just want to chill out on your own private patio. Ideal for a couple, a 3rd person can be squeezed in, and your dog is also welcome.

Bluebell Pod with wood fired hot tub

Set on an adult only rural glamping site, the pod is a clever use of space with great views to the outside. It has a kitchenette at one end with a breakfast bar and a bathroom with toilet, shower and basin at the other end. The double bed is made up with luxurious bed linen with a dressing table, vanity mirror and wardrobe next to it. Outside there is a large decked area with its own wood-fired hot tub and bbq where you can enjoy views over the water and ancient woodland.

A beautiful fully self contained holiday home nestled in the Suffolk countryside. The cottage is situated in a charming area of Suffolk that is central to many popular holiday destinations but the location also provides you with quiet and peaceful surroundings. The cottage is fully self contained and is well equipped with everything you will need to make your stay comfortable and homely. It is suitable for a family of four or for two couples.

A quiet retreat in an AONB. Use of our garden whenever you would like. Views of countryside and wildlife at the end of our garden. Large private parking.
