Great historic home with all the modern amenities perfectly situated in the heart of Troy. We will definitely be back again.

Cannot say enough good things about our stay here. The house was just as described, maybe better. Very clean, cozy, nicely decorated and very charming. It was perfect for our short trip! The neighborhood was very nice and the neighbors very friendly. There were lots of deer in the neighborhood as well, so another nice perk. We were in town for a bike race at Uwharrie National Forest, which is just a few minutes away. The town of Albemarle is only 15 minutes away and has everything you'd need, including nice restaurants. I hope this home is available again next year when we come back for the Uwharrie MTB Challenge!

The main reason I chose this location was the wrap around porch. It was even more welcoming in person. The beds were all very comfortable, the living room furniture was very comfortable. Everything in the home was clean and the whole house smelled wonderful. You can tell how much time and effort they put into choosing the design and decor. We were on the trails all day, and came back and felt at home, and we were able to relax and enjoy the comforts of that “at home” feeling. Hannah was very responsive to all questions & needs for recommendations. There was ample parking. Check in & out instructions were very clear. Any information we needed for the home was listed in the app, in the home book, and also on the refrigerator, so very thought out. We will be booking this same property for future stays, as we visit Uwharrie. There is a bar & grill a few minutes back up to the main road, the outpost was closed by, driving into town was not too far. The Community was welcoming.

My family and I felt right at home during our recent stay. A few things that stood out were the fully stocked kitchen, the well thought out amenities and the guest book full of notes from past occupants. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need to cook a good meal and enjoy your stay. Plenty of pots, pans and cookware. There were even some snacks and drinks that we were welcome to! I loved that this place is dog friendly and had bowls for the pups. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. There were also extra pillows and blankets. We enjoyed a family game night together and watched a movie. We loved the ranch style home and could tell it was well loved. Matt was very responsive and offered suggestions on local attractions and restaurants. This spot felt safe and was so cozy! We hope to return to visit Asheboro Zoo.
